Grace A- Highway 150

The title of this image is Highway 150. It was taken on an overpass overlooking the highway at night, on February 14th, 2022. The photo was taken with a Nikon D50, using a 30 second exposure to get the streaks of light. I edited it by darkening the whole image and changing the color of the sky to be more blue rather than black. The colors of the car lights were adjusted from a bright red to more of a pink color, and the white to a blueish color. Lastly, I added a bokeh to the edge of the photo. This image could be better if the dust had been wiped off the lens beforehand so that there weren’t specks of color in the photo.

This photo is really cool. I love the exposure. Good job adjusting the color tones. I would have removed the light from in the trees and the speckles across the image. I also would have tried to remove the milage marker sign because it's a little distracting. Overall, a really great photo.

I really like this picture and think the lighting is really well. The sky having blue and the lights not being just straight makes it look very good.

This is a really cool photo and the colors go really well together. If I would change anything I would have made some of the white lines more straight and erased some distractions but overall I really like this picture.

I really like this picture, very well taken. I really like the lighting and the lights of the cars. I wish the trees were a little more visible/detailed but overall I really like it.

This photo looks really cool, the way the colors are bright and how its very clear and well taken, I also love how not all the lines are straight. If I were to change something it would be making the background more visible but overall a very great picture.

this photo is gorgeous, the exposure is perfect and I love the way the lights make lines on the read and how they are so many different shades and variations of colors, the darkening of the background and the blue tenting to the sky really wrapped the whole photo up into a perfect bow AB-HHS

I really love this image, the underexposure allows the lights on the road to shine through the rest of the picture. I like the balance you have created between the dimness of the sky and the vibrance of the lights on the road. Overall very nice picture, keep up the good work!

This photo is so cool! I love how you can very obviously see the red on the right and white on the left, that's so neat. I love how bright the sky is where it seems like it should be much darker, great call! I will say that the specs of color you talk abut probably could be edited out pretty easily, but still a good idea to wipe your lens (safely)!

I love this photo so much! The depth of field of the highway is very cool and how it looks really deep and long. The color of the lights and how they flow on the image is very nice. The way that the area is mostly back and dark making the lights pop even more. This really gives me a spooky vibe!

I really love the long exposure, I also think it was a really great idea on your part to change the hues of the sky and the lights. It's a really cohesive image and you can really see the time that it took and the effort that was put into it.

This photo is really cool I love the colors especially the blue of the night. I think the sign lit up in the back are is jarring but overall its great -jb

This photo is amazing. I really love how it just blurs together so well and is very aesthetically pleasing. I also like how the sky isn't completely dark but rather blueish which makes the photo better.

This is a super cool photo. I really like the white lights on one side and the red on the other side. I also wonder if you used a tripod, because this is very clear and has almost no blur, especially for a picture with such long exposure. I do wish the sky was a bit darker though.

I really like this photo! I Like that even though the colors of the lights are obviously mostly white and red, I like the little bit of blue lighting as well. I also really like that the sky is still not completely black.
