Macy M- Need A Little Life

This image is titled, “Need A Little Life.” This photo was taken at my dad’s lake house in the front yard for the close up assignment. This was taken with my Nikon d3400. I made the background black and white, I sharpened it, I bumped up the saturation, and I made it more vibrant. I wish it was not so blurry in some areas. I sprayed water on it myself to add the water droplet effect.

I love this picture! I love how the background is blurred but the flower and the water drops on the flower are in focus. I also love the colors. I like how the dark red and the burnt orange come together. I think this image has perfect everything as far as colors, light, and editing.
This is such a nice picture. The way you made the background black and white is really unique and creative. I love the various colors of the flowers and how the droplets stand out so much. Good job!

I really love this photo. I love how you framed the image with the flower off to the right of the picture. I also love the lighting, the colors are really nice and you can see some shine in the water droplets. I would definitely keep this photo. Dalton C. - HHS
This is a great photo, the colors of the flower are so detailed and just look so good. The position of the flower is also good, the blurred background shows off the inside and petals so nicely The water droplets just make the flower look even better but the picture would be great with or without them! Great work and definitely is a keeper.
This is a really good picture. I like all the detail on the pedals and the color of the flower the position and and the angle of the camera is really good. My favorite part is the water droplets on the rose because I just like the detail.
I think this is a great image because the focus is great. The colors of the image work well together and the blur in the background makes it better. The flower is on the right if the image making it more noticeable. I keep this image if I could. Betsy B.-HHS

This photo is absolutely stunning. You did an amazing job of capturing its beauty and the add of water droplets was a great idea! I love the mixes of colors in the flower and the detail that you had put into capturing each of its petals. I like your idea of making the background black and white. Increasing the saturation in the photo was a great idea for the colors of the flower. I have to say, over all this is a really great photo and keep taking amazing photos like this!
I love this picture! I really like how you made the background blurry and focused just on the flower. I also really like how you thought of the idea about spraying water on it to add effect. One thing I would've different though was brighten the photo some, but other than that It's really good.

This is such a good photo!! I really love all of the detail on the flower and the colors in this picture. I like how the flower is the only thing in focus and the angle the picture was taken from. This is sooo good and is for sure a keeper!!

This is a great photo. I love the angle you took it from and how close up the photo was taken. I think the rain drops add to the photo well and even the color of the flower. The way you left a little of the background adds to the picture because it clearly gives away the focal point. Love It
I really love this picture! I love the depth of field since the background is very blurry and the flower is very focused. I also like how some of the flower is over exposed and some of the flower is underexposed. I like how this flower is not centered because it adds something to imagine. This image is a keeper!
This photo is really good i like how its only focused on the flower and the rain drop. I also love the angel.
