Julia M.- My Skinny Self

This picture is called “My Skinny Self”. This was taken with my Nikon D80 at the Birmingham Zoo. I edited it by flipping the picture, and creating a skeleton overtop the flipped image, I got rid of the extra body with the stamp tool. I think tried to make the lemur sharp and fade out the background. I feel it could have been better if I managed the area behind the skeleton better, it kinda goes from sharp to blur really strongly but I struggled fixing it. I really like how it turned out in ht pend because I put a lot of effort into it. This will be the fifth animal in this collection. I plan to have more reptiles and a few more mammals.

this picture is really cool! I like how you edited the background to be a neutral color so the lemur stood out more. Its also really cool that the the skeleton is so detailed. the only other thing I might have done is blend the middle of the image so it looks more like one rock.
This is a really awesome picture. I think just by itself it would have been a good pictures because it is well lit and focused. I think the texture of the rock the lemur is sitting on really adds to the picture as well. The addition of the skeletal version of the lemur just adds to the overall picture and makes it very unique. I like that everything in the picture is symmetrical except for the the animal and skeleton too, it kind of emphasizes the difference in the two subjects by keeping everything else the same. The lemur does have a little bit of artifacting issues but that's the only thing I can think of to change. Good job!

I'm so in love with your unique style of art and photography. The symmetry of the lemur and the skeleton is perfect and the editing looks pretty good as well; the lighting and detail really makes up the photography itself. I'd love to see the rest of your collection! Good job.

i really like this picture a lot. i loved how the skeleton is mirrored with the monkey. its really cute. how did you make the skeleton?
I have no idea on how you did the skeleton replacement but either way it is very impressive editing. Despite the cartoonish appearance, it is still an interesting picture. I feel like the color blends to much with the back wall though so its kinda had to make out. I'd choose more contrasting colors next time. Other than that, this is a very cool picture, the symmetry is very nice.

This photo is super cool! I love your edit of what was an ordinary image. The detail in the lemur is really good. The lighting is kind of low but it does make the photo look cool. I don't think either of the objects is on a third. Overall, I like the photo because it is super unique. You can clearly see the hard work put into it. Keep it up

This is sooo creative! I love how the lemur isn't centered but it's still clearly the main subject in the photo because of the neutral colors. Adding the skeleton was a very cool touch to the image. Great job! - Mariam T HHS
This picture is unique in its own way. This picture is really beautiful. I love the way that you created a skeleton out of an animal picture. The back is a neutral color which id perfect with the theme and it is just amazing.

This photo is pretty cool. I really like how it is symmetric. The focus is really good. I really how there really is not a center. I really like this photo.
I Really like how symmetrical this picture is, also I like the the copy of the animal on the otherwise of the rock looks like the bones.
I like this photo very much! It adds some interesting features that make it worth a second glance and then the third one. The white background adds to the photo nicely!
