Jasmine W- Sunnyside

I took the photo at Sunnyside, New York, NY on July 18, 2017. I took the photo with iPhone 6s Plus. I edited it with Photos Editor and used most of the adjustments. I could’ve made the picture brighter. I love riding in the subway despite it being hot sometimes and no air conditioning in the car, but you get to see different kinds of people, and possibly make a new friend with someone you meet while you are riding to your destination.

I love this photo because it has really nice aesthetics and it is a really pretty cityscape. I think if you had either darkened the roadway area a little more or made it brighter, it would have improved this picture. I think part of it is that its kind of hard to see the contrast on the blog page, but I think you overall did a really great job. I love the lowlight of the horizon and how you captured the subways it looks like its moving. I also think the leading lines of the subway tracks make for a great picture -Lauren B HHS

I really like the color in this photo. The warm tones from the sun blend really well with cool, darker tones of the street. I do wish, though, that this photo was a little brighter.

Overall I really like this picture, I think it makes very good use of some leading lines with the subway lines and roads drawing your attention to the city, but because of that I almost wish there was some more contrast with the buildings of the city having some more lights to contrast with the darkness of the photo, or if you had had a full sunset over the skyline I think that would have looked really cool as well. I think you can kind of see the weaknesses of your camera in lowlight with this shot because it looks a bit grainy and out of focus, but I'm not sure how much you would have been able to do to help that. Overall I like the photo though and it really makes me start wondering about where this is and what's going on.

I love the contrasting parts of this picture and al the different lighting objects. The colors in this picture though of darker hue give it a distinct uniqueness.

I really enjoy looking at this picture because it is just so satisfying to look at. I like how most of the color is in the back/ sky of the photo, which brings out the subway, cars, and the road. I really liked how the colors came together and made a really good looking picture. i really love the color of the sky. Even though I really like the color, I feel that the roads/ bottom part of the picture is a little too dark and it took my awhile to depict what everything was. I really like this photo and would definitely hang it up on my wall.

I really like this image because it has a nice sunset tone to it. I love how the sky color is peachy and how the image shows details on the objects in the picture. I do agree that if the picture were brighter than it would be better but other than that I love the image. The picture gives me happy feeling and I wouldn't mind hanging this picture up. Betsy B. This picture is so cool! I think the fact that you got the train in the picture makes it look even cooler and just gives big city vibes. I agree that it could've been brighter but I think it works well together! Nice job!

This picture looks absolutely amazing! I love how you can see so much action in one picture. The sky looks beautiful and really makes the picture pop. I love how you can see the train, the cars, and all of the buildings at once. Very good job!

I really like this photo! I like how the colors are darker, except the sunset and the lights from the subway. I like how the railings, subway tracks and the subway are the main leading lines in this photo and they are leading towards the city. The lighting is really good coming from the back of the sunset, behind the city, so the silhouette of the city is obvious. This photo is definitely a keeper!

This picture is really good. I do think that the train tracks could maybe be exposed a little more, but overall it is a great picture. I think the leading lines of this image are a great benefit to this picture. Overall I really like this image.

I simply really like this picture! The colors of this picture are really pretty and I really like how you got the sky in this picture. The sky really adds a different feel to this picture! The lights of the cars and the train lights really combine and create a wonderful picture. If the picture was sharper then it would soooo much better
