Gabriel D- Bus Cliff Hanger

The name of this image is called Bus Cliff Hanger. This image was taken in St.Louis, City Museum. This being one of the main attractions, a bus suspended above ten stories. This shot was taken around late July, mid day. This was taken with an iPhone 6. I used photoshop. I should have taken the image without the sidewalks in view.

I love this photo a lot. I think the bus hanging over the edge of the building as it adds some suspense to the photo, leaving the viewer with the, "What's going to happen next?" I think the timing of day was perfect for this photo, and the light looks really good. The clarity of the photo is also very good. Very quality photo and definitely a keeper! - Noah M HHS

I really like this photo! I like how not one this is the main focus, and there is a lot going on and a lot for the eyes to look at. The lighting is very good coming from the clouds. I like that the colors are a bit more dull because it shows the mood of the photo better. I feel like there is a leading line going from the bottom of the photo towards the bus. I really like this photo because it is just of buildings, but there is so much more happening in this photo. This is a keeper! -Olivia H HHS

I think this picture is really cool. I like how the bus is in the center of the photo and everything above it is the sky and everything below is like the ground, despite the bus being up ten stories. This picture had nice framing. I like where the light falls in the picture, and how the tops of the buildings have more light on them than the sides. I think this was a really cool subject for a photo and I'm glad that you chose to share this.

I really like this picture. The slightly dulled saturation helps to give the image a mysterious vibe. I would maybe have exposed the bus a bit more in photoshop to draw more attention to it. However, I still really like this picture and the mysterious mood it gives off. Great job.

This picture is awesome! I really like the horizon shot and the X it sorta makes with the street and the bus, Which keeps focus on the bus. At first i thought it was just a normal picture Until i saw the bus which I wasn't sure if it was a real picture or if it was edited. I think you could've increased the yellow tone over the picture to try and make the bus more noticeable. I would hang this picture on my wall. Jacob T. HHS

This is a super cool picture with a lot of feeling and suspense behind it. I think the subject is really interesting, and the lighting coming from the sunlight and clouds gives the picture a lot of emotion, which I also really like. Also, the lighting is really soft, which helps match the mood of the image.

This photo is very interesting to look at. I love how the light is coming directly from the clouds on to the bus, drawing your eye to it. I think that this picture would be better if the saturation was turned up and cropped slightly- to get less of the trees and buildings.

I love the angle of the buildings in this picture. The exposure is very balanced throughout the whole image and it looks great. The angles of the buildings draw your eye down the street. I really like this photo, I love images of downtown areas.

Gabriel, I love your picture as well as it’s title “Bus Cliff Hanger”. The bus hanging over the edge of the building adds a unique thing to a unique point of view. It adds some wonder as to how the bus got to where it was and if it will ever fall over the edge. The contrast from the dark street to the bright sky is spot on. The focus is nice and the overall aesthetic of the image is high quality.
