Nicole T- Piano Man

I named this picture Piano Man and I took it with a Canon Powershot Sx 150 IS at the Galleria Mall a few months ago. I edited it by using the Sepia, Vignette, Fade, and Boost filters on iPhoto as well as turning up the contrast, exposure, and saturation.  It could be better if I was able to take the picture with less distractions. I picked this picture because music means a lot to me and the piano man represents that.

The lighting in this photo is perfect. The different places that the light sources are coming from make the image really stand out. The leading lines in the photo such as the escalator rail and the tiles on the floor draw my eyes to the main subject which is the piano. The only think bad about the photo is that I wish that the piano was more of the main subject instead of the tree and the chair.

I love this photo because it is so simple. This is such a cool picture! I like the filter and the edit you did, it adds a cool feeling to the photo. If I took this picture the only thing I would do to make it better is to focus on one main thing, either the piano or the tree! But, overall this is one cool picture.

Very cool edit! I like the way the handrail on the escalator leads to the piano in the center. The lighting is really good too. It might be a little bit better if there was less going on and it was more just the piano. This picture makes me remember exactly what it feels like to be in Von Maur at the mall.

I like the color of the picture overall adding a nice effect over the photo. I like that the background objects create a depth of field in the photo. I agree that the photo could have been better with less distractions to help find a focus in the photo. I also have a problem with the amount of light sources as it makes the photo feels to bright to look at.

I like how you edited the picture, how you connected your passion of music to your picture. I wish what you could have lowered the brightness of the background just a little. Chris C-HHS
