The title of this image is ‘Peace” I took this picture at home like a month ago. I put glow stick liquid all over my hand to make my hand glow. I took this picture with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I edited this picture by blacking out the background and turning up the saturation.

Caroline, your “Peace” photograph is very interesting. I really like your idea of putting glow stick liquid all over your hand. It creates quite the image. In regard to a technical aspect, I feel the lighting is good, but it could be better up at your index and middle fingers because I feel they are not the subject of the photo due to how dark they are. The title of the photograph is “Peace”after all. In regard to a composition aspect, I really like how your hand is perfectly centered in the very middle “third column.” In regard to the aesthetic aspect, I do like this photo and would consider it a keeper because it would definitely make a great desktop background, but I just feel it would be better if you just illuminated your index and middle fingers a tad more. You still did a great job though!

This is a very cool picture! I like the purple and pink tint to this picture. The lighting seems really cool and even in this. I love how the background is black. I like how your hand is centered. This could be better if you could see your fingers better or it was clearer.

First, I like how it captures a really unique picture! I think you did a really good job on centering your hand and how it had the pink and purple to it. I like how you made the background black it helps to bring out this amazing peace sign! It could have been a little better if it wasn't a little dark on those two fingers. It does seem blurry but I think thats what makes it look cooler. I think this would be a good photo to keep! Great job!!!
cool picture. i like how much the hand stands out and how it is the only thing in the picture, making it really easy to focus on the subject. i also rally like the colors of this picture. they are very bright and set the picture at a good tone. a way this could be better if maybe if it was focused more but its still a really good picture. i would defiantly hang this on my wall.
I like the lighting in this photo. The shadow on the top part of the hand provides a dramatic effect, and is a nice contrast. Also, I like the color. The pink and purple creates a cool effect. The photo as a whole has a soft, relaxed, and peaceful mood, which plays into the subject of the photo. It could be a little sharper, but as a whole, It's pretty cool.
