Samuel C - Supermoon

Supermoon
It was taken outside my house during the night of the Supermoon
It was taken with a Nikon D40X camera
I edited the exposure to give it a nice graduated effect
I wish that I had a higher quality camera to get a better look at the moon

I really like this picture! I really like how you can see the different shades of red in the moon and it came out really clear and in focus. It may be better if you had cropped it in a little so the moon would appear bigger but thats just minor. Overall really good picture!

in this picture you can easily tell what the focus of the picture is. i loved that you took the moon in the center of the frame because it gives the photo balance. my favorite thing about this picture are the different shades in the moon. i saw a variety pictures of the super moon and this one is definitely unique. i do wish the moon was bigger.

I like the balance of colors in this photo. It looks like you didn't really mess with the white balance, which retains the orange reddish cast on the moon, giving it a cool effect. I like how the moon stands out as a light area against the dark background, and fills up an appropriate amount of space. I dislike the fact that it isn't quite as sharp as it could be though.

This Is a really cool shot! I also tried to take a picture of the blood/supper moon, and I know how hard it was to take. I like how the colors go from blackish red down to a really light red. you did a good job of taking this when there weren’t any clouds which makes it easier to see, but it would have been nicer to see more of the detail in the moon.
