Brianna S- NYC

The title of this image is “NYC”. I took it this past December while in New York for my mom’s 50th birthday. It was taken with my Nikon D3100. I edited it by adjusting saturation and the exposure, and sharpening some areas. It could be better if I had used a tripod so that there was better focus in the areas I wanted it to be.

I really like this picture, it has the cold effect in the background and warm star effect in the picture itself. Its just so mesmerizing.

This is a beautiful picture. I love the bright stars against the dark and cold clouds. The cars and the buildings look really good. I also like how the street is slightly blurred it makes it look in motion. I like how the street ahead is centered in the picture, too. This is probably one of my favorite picture.

this is gorgeous! i love how the lights are bright enough that they contrast with the background . and also how you took the picture at a good enough angle where the star lights reflect from the glass. Great job!

I love this picture, it's so pretty! I like how the background is all cool tones and the stars are warm colors. I also like how the background is a little less in focus then the stars.

This is such a nice picture! I love the contrast between the bright yellow/orange stars and the blue/gray! The focus on the stars brings the image together.

Great picture! I like how you focused it on the stars. And good job on the edits, it brings out a nice color to the stars.

I love this photo! The exposure is great and I like how the color in the lanterns are visible and stand out. I also like how the focus is on all the lanterns and the background is not distracting. I like how the largest lantern is not in the center, but more towards the left. I really like this photo, good job.

This is a great picture and I love the color of the stars. I like how the focus is on the stars, but you can also still see the NYC skyline in the background. The colors are also really vibrant which I like also. The lighting is almost perfect. You captured it a little after sunset, and then right before it got completely dark. Lovely picture!

This picture is cool because of the large amount of the stars and how the ones in the back are lighter than the others.

I like this picture because of technique and setup of the shot. The enlarged stars in the foreground, with the reflection in the backgrounds helps add to the photo. The photographer planned their shot well, and I agree, it could have been a little bit better focus.

Great picture! I love the how the color of the stars stand out a lot in comparison to the background. The picture is very busy but it works well because the position and color of the stars are still the main focus. The focus may not be that great but its good enough to make the picture great. Very artistic and definitely a keeper.
