Cooper G - The Light of God

I took this picture on an airplane on the way to Miami for Spring Break on my iPhone 13, of course, the sky doesn’t naturally look like that. This photo was used for the kaleidoscope assignment, I used the analog effects filter from the Nik Collection tab. This photo could have been better if I took a little better of the photo originally.

I really like how this image is edited to make the light be in the center. I think the distortion makes it look like it is all one image. I also really like how there are only a few colors in the image.

I think this is a very nice photo. I really enjoy the effect you gained using kaleidoscope. The illusion of clouds being both above and below with the sun at the center looks pretty nice. The colors are pretty nice as well.

I really like the image and how the clouds on the bottom of the image look like snow. The grain from the image is also a really good touch as it makes it have a painted feel to it. The only thing that I would change would be the sun to be more spherical. Overall a good photo with a good feel to it with little to no change needed.

I really like this image, how you made flipped the images to make the light in the center and the clouds on the bottom really gave it that "the light of god" feeling. Good Photo!

I really like this image, and how you flipped the image and then put the source in the light in the center and it gave the feeling of god doing his thing and lighting up the world. But other than that I really don't see anything the needed to change. Great Image!

Great use of the kaleidoscope effect for this photo with both sides of onto with the clouds and the light In the middle. Oe thing I find strange is how the site displays the photo as slightly off center. This photo is great aside from the goof of the site.

I really like this picture. Especially how the sun hits. I also like the clouds and even if the photo was for the kaleidoscope, it's still a great picture. even the title.10/10. and keep up the good work gang

This photo is super cool and well chosen for this assignment. I believe the composition choice of the light beam being in the center instead of the outer corners really gives it that ethereal look. If there was one thing I would change, it would be to mess around with the color values a little more so specific aspects can pop out in the image. But overall, really great work!!!!! ~BH

I really like this picture because it looks like a different world. I already love the sky and I think you captured it really well. I think it could be better if the quality was a little better. Overall, great job!

I'm really impressed with the heaven like feel you made with this kaleidoscope photo. I like how the kaleidoscope's functionalists was used to separate the ground and sky and centralize the sun to give a world travel feel. Great photo.
