Sydney R - The Moon and the Stars

This image is called, “The Moon and the Stars.” I took it about a few weeks ago outside when I was walking around my neighborhood. I used my Nikon D3500 to take this picture. To edit I first increased the contrast of the moon so that it is easier to see the craters. Then I ran the photo through the Nik collection in order to make it that cool blue color. I added stars next by getting a scattered paint brush and brushing the white all over. And Finally I adjusted the opacity of the stars and changed the blend mode.

This picture is amazing. I love the centered moon with the stars surrounding it. That is a very good editing job as well, because the stars look very realistic.

I really love how the moon is centered in the photo. And the variation in light, almost as a gradient from dark to light moving across tight to left. If there was a way to sharpen the image it would look even better, but its a very good picture as is, and would definitely print it out to put on a wall.

I absolutely love this photo! I love the soft and glowing feel that you created in the moon and sky. I really enjoy the ethereal feel of the sky. I think it was a really good idea to use the scattered paint brush in order to make the stars, as well of changing the opacity in order for them to blend in. In all I think that this is a phenomenal photo.

This photo is so pretty! I love how the moon is centered and the stars are kind of blurred out, which makes the moon standout. This photo is also very focused which makes it so pretty! This photo is so relaxing and the ombre makes it even prettier.

This is an amazing photo! It's so cool that you were able to get a close-up of the moon. The blue hue adds such a pretty and calming aesthetic, and the moon has the slightest shade of pink. You did a really good job with the stars too! There's nothing I would change about this picture. Nice job!

Hey! I really like this photo and the aesthetics of it. I love the way the sky is two different shades. The Stars look very realistic as well. It is very creative and relaxing. I also really like the way you can see the shadow very thin around the edge of the moon. This overall is an amazing image, very very impressive!

This is a great picture. The subject is striking in the best way, specifically the framing of the image makes the moon pop. This is one of my favorite photos I’ve seen all year.

This is an amazing photo, great job! I love how one side of the sky os darker than the other and that the moon is perfectly centered so that it is the main part of the picture.

I love this photo! I love how the main focus is the moon and the stars surround it. The color of the sky is so cool how it is lighter on one side. It really gives a late night walk feeling and I love this photo so much.
