Olivis R - Red

The title of this photo is Red. The chicken in this photo is named Red, she is one of seven of my backyard chickens. This was taken a week or so ago in my backyard with my Nikon D3300. In editing this photo I increased the saturation specifically in her comb and eye. I also darkened the background to make her coloring pop. I think this photo could be better if I wiped her beak and tried to get the chicken in the bottom right out of the shot.

The colors of your image are beautiful. They are bold and saturated which makes the picture really pleasing to the eye. And the amber of your hen's eye is gorgeous. I totally agree with you with the chicken on the bottom right! It distracts the viewer momentarily. But other than that, this picture is amazing!

I like this picture. I wish you had cropped a little bit more of the chicken into the frame, so it could fill it up more. I also wish you had upped the saturation of the whole picture just a little bit more, or decreased the saturation on her body and the background, so the comb and eye would pop even more. Overall, super good enough.

This is a really interesting picture. The saturation could be increased a little bit? I know you darkened the background to make the colors pop but the background feels kind of bland. Maybe increasing the saturation of the whole thing could improve that. I think this photo would look really cool closer up. There are already a few details on the chicken that I wouldn't normally see, so I think it would be interesting to enhance that and also get rid of some of the empty space in the back. I really like how Red is in focus and the background is blurry. Overall, this is a really nice picture.
