Katie G- Converse River

I titled this picture “Converse River”. I took it at the creek behind my house on September 4th 2019. I took it with my Canon camera. I din’t edit it at all. I could of framed it a little different to make it better. I love this picture because it’s at my favorite spot to go ad think, and my favorite pair of shoes are in it.

I really like this picture. I love the scenery and vibrant colors. It is very bright and airy, which definitely adds to the photo. I like how you have a broad depth of field because I think that it properly representing the reasons you took this picture, your shoes, and the location. I feel that the edge of the rock is a bit harsh and somewhat divides the foreground to the background. I would have brought you a camera closer to the ground, while still including the shoes and the background, just making all the elements in the photo more cohesive. I really like this picture. I think that this adequately represents the elements in the photo and I enjoy the serene feeling of this image.

I really like this picture because the reflection off the water is almost mirror like and the color is captured perfectly in the water. The lighting in this picture too is very serene and comforting. It feels like I'm outside net to the water too. The detail of the rock is nice because it shows two conflicting images. One is a harsh and solid rock and the other is a free flowing and calming. In my opinion I think the shoes take away from the beauty of the nature but I can see where she went with her image. She wanted the viewer to feel like they too are sitting down and are staring into the landscape.

This picture is really nice and cute. I love how the water and the rocks are focused and the shoes are clear too. The dark and light areas are cool to see and help the picture stand out with the leaves and the refection of the water. The feeling for this makes me calm and happy.

I really like the amount of light in this picture, it compliments all the colors really well and makes them visible but not too crazy. This photo is definitely balanced, there are not too many things to look at and I like the simplicity of it. I really like this photo, this looks like a really cool place and it makes me happy. Overall, this is an awesome picture!

I really like the exposure and lighting in this picture. The colors were really warm and gentle, and you definitely got good Depth of Field.

I really like this picture and the mood it gives off. It feels very inviting and natural. The deep depth of field allows the entire photo to be in focus and the river in turn is the main subject of the image instead of just the shoes. The photo also seems in perfect exposure. There is also a good mixture of both bright and dark areas because he sides of the river were covered in shade making a really neat image. Another way i think your photo is really interesting is how your legs act as a leading line to both your shoes and the reflection of the light in the middle of the river and the picture.

I think this image is pretty cool. I love the scenery of the image and how the greenery frames the image. It has really good clarity and exposure. I would of chosen a different positioning of the camera and have more of the scenery instead of the shoes but I still think the image is great. I also would of added a filter just to enhance some of the brightness and greenery in the image. Overall I think this is a great simple and clear picture.
