Nick F. - My Glove

The title of the picture is "My Glove". I took the picture at shades mountain park in the afternoon. I took the picture with my Nikon D40. I edited the picture using iPhoto on the schools Mac. In iPhoto I adjusted the levels and contrast. I turned the saturation down all the way and clicked avoid saturating skin tones. I tired the definition and sharpness all the way up. I played with the highlights, shadows and de-noise. I would not change anything about this picture.

This is a really good photo! It looks like a painting. I love what you did with the contrast and how the glove really pops on the grass. I also love how you can see all the individual details such as the dirt on the baseball. Great job!

This picture is really good! I like how you made everything so sharp and defined. The color of the glove contrasts really well with the color of the grass. You did a really good job editing this!

Good job on the focus of the image. The glove and ball are completely focused. The color of the baseball is also really cool. I really like this picture, good job.

I like this photo a lot. I like how you were able to get every thing in focus including the grass. I also like how you turned the saturation down. This helped the glove and ball look like it has been used for a while. I finally like how increased the definition which also increased the aged look in the glove. Overall a very good photo.

Like other people have said, this picture looks a lot like an old painting. I really like how the grass looks dry and bland, really making the subject of the image stick out. The only constructive criticism I can think to offer would be to position the glove so that the inside wasn't so shadowed. But you may like it that way, so other than that, great picture!
