Mason L- Helena Tracks

This was taken in Helena. I liked the result of this picture and found that it looked best black and white. I also cropped the photo to remove some of the ugly scenery found on the sides of the photo.

I like how the focus is towards the foreground, and the background is blurred. I think the picture is well balanced, but it might look a little better if as the tracks grew further away. the background got darker. This makes me feel sad

Nice picture Mason, I really like the deep depth of field that shows the train tracks disappearing in the distance. I also liked how the cropping places the tracks toward the center of the image. The black and white gives the image a sad feel.

I really like this picture. I believe everyone should have a train track picture somewhere. The way that there are tracks and trees on both sides makes the photo appear more balanced. Also the way that the background appears that it keeps going and never ending. The last thing that I like is that you didn't use color and it seems more mellow.

Your focus is good but i'm unsure of what your subject is by just looking at it, without the title or description.
I think that if you were to darken the trees/bushes and whiten the sky more it would be more contrasting. I do like the way the tracks give the idea that they go on forever. I know there's a story behind this but i cant see it.

i really like the vintage/old style of the picture. Railroads are pretty cliche but always look good. I really like how it looks like the tracks go on forever. Great picture all around Mason!

I really like this photo and the subject which is the tracks, since that's the most defined object in the photo and the image is also titled 'Helena Tracks'. What you could do to improve this photo is to go in photoshop and blur the trees and scenery just a bit so that the track sticks out more. It's a nice photo, lovely angle. Great job. :3

great picture. the black and white is really fitting for the environment. it would have been cool to see it as a regular color photo to though, but over all very nice

I really like the lighting in this photo. The darker areas are contrasted well with the lighter ones. I think black and white really gives this photo a different feel than if it had color and I really like it. The picture gives a sort of sad mood but I really like it at the same time.
