Ben F- In to the Tunnel of Darkness

The title of this picture is In to the Tunnel of Darkness. It was taken at the train tracks near the old Bumpus on the railroad tracks. It was taken on October 19th, 2013. I edited this picture by lowering the vibrance on the background but boosted the saturation on my Patagonia backpack. I could have made this picture better by adding more detail to the walls of the tunnel and taking out some of the color of the weeds at the lower left and right sides of the tunnel.

I really love this picture.
I like how you made everything black and white to make the bright red bag pop out.
And I like how a couple more things flow into the black and white, it looks really good.

This is a very neatly taken photo. I like how you made everything black and white except your book bag. I like all the rocks on the sides of the train tracks as well.I think it would be a better picture if the graffiti was not on the sides of the tunnel.

This picture emits a theme of isolation. Lowering the saturation of the image and restaurating the backpack looks great. It could be better if the backpack was brighter, but overall a great photo.

Ben this picture is great!!I love the background and how you are instantly drawn to the red in your backpack. I also think that the light at the end of the tunnel is really cool.

This picture is very visually interesting. i like the way you faded everything out with only one subject staying saturated. the detail is really good too.

This photo is really cool. i like how everything is faded bit the backpack is still red. Its cool how the subject is walking into sort of an unknown factor. Overall this is a really cool photo and a good job editing.

Nice photo man, I really like the contrast of color as well as the whole set up and subject placement of the photo. The color really defines the tone and makes this photo look great.

This picture is really cool! My favorite part about it is how the only things that are highlighted in color are your backpack and the bottom of the plants on the left and right. Its a really antique looking picture and I also like the railroad leading into the tunnel. Overall its a really cool picture.

This is a really cool picture! My favorite part would have to be how you made the tunnel and the surrounding areas somewhat dark/ominous with the tint used. You're lucky to have found such a place, I'd love to know where it is! It's really interesting how color starts to come back closer to you. Again, great picture!

i love how it is almost all black and white but there is still a hint of color and how there is more color at the bottom. i thought there was someone in front of you i would have blacked out the end of the tunnel. but really good job Ben!

This is an extremely cool photo! I love how you choses certain colors to emphasize. I personally like how you kept the colors of the weeds on the side, and I wish you had actually brought out some of the color of the top plants. I love your distinct point of view in this photo.Great job!

I really really like this picture! I love how the saturation is very thin at the bottom, then flows upward and is completely eliminated. I love the detail/depth of focus of all the plants around the tunnel also! this picture makes me feel adventurous, and id definitely buy it.

Bennnn. I love this photo!!! I love the intricate detail and sharpness of the photo, and I also love how you enhanced the backpack color over everything else. You know how they say a picture can say 1000 words? This picture justifies that statement. I really love the way you edited this, I wouldn't change anything about this photo!!! Good job :)

probably the coolest photo i have seen in a long time. it almost looks like you are in the jungle or something. the tunnel and the trees above it give it an eery feeling to it. very cool photo especially in black and white with just a touch of color.
