Jake D- Long Exposure

Over spring break my friend and I decided to mess around with some long exposures. 30 seconds to be exact. We set up the camera on a tripod and used his car and a flashlight. Occasionally one of us would stand there too. I really like this photo just because of how cool it is. The flashlight really makes the orange paint stick out. It was dark out but there were a few lampposts around us, so the lighting was ideal. This is one of my new favorite photos and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. It was taken at the helipad at my church and the camera we used was a Nikon D7100.

This is a great picture! I really like how lights almost glows off the side of the Jeep. It goes well with the darkness of the whole picture. Great job!

This Image is really well done. The exposure time really helps with the brightness, but it's still dark, which helps the light stand out. The person did a really good job of standing still and remained in focus. The car's color looks great with the rest of the image. It helps the person stand out because of the opposite colors. Overall I wouldn't change anything about this image.

This is an awesome picture dude, love the flashlight lines and the reflection they have on the jeep. Also the color of the jeep. I do wish there were more lines though. That would be cool to have them filling the empty space in the photo. Overall a very cool pic!

this is such a cool picture. very nice car and nice pose. I think that if it were brighter so we can see more, it would look cool. but overall such a cool picture. looks like it belongs in a magazine.

This picture came out really cool! I think the effect the flashlight left looks really nice and gives a really nice illustrative touch to the picture. I think the darker colors makes the flashlight light look much more bright which is a really cool touch. Also the colors on the jeep look really nice and pretty vibrant too. The only thing I could suggest is to remove the light shown up from the building behind the car. Overall its a great job and I think its a really cool picture!

I really like this image. I want to mess around more with long exposures too. I wish there was more movement with the light though. I feel like this picture needs just a little more to it. Other than that, this is a great image!

The light is so cool and I like how the light spreads out more when it touches the ground.

I love this picture it looks so cool! I like the lighting and how you can see the movement of the light. I also really like how the red jeep's color stands out. This is really good and I wouldn't really change anything.

broooo this picture is so cool! the lighting and the exposure looks great. also, the fact that you are just sitting there makes the picture even better. the colors are really vibrant and the blue of your clothes and the red of the jeep contrast really well.

I really like this photo. I like how you played around with different exposure times. The elements of the pose and the flash and the jeep really make this photo stand out. Awesome composition!

This picture is so good! I really like how it's all dark and the red color of the car shines and the person in the middle goes well with everything else and Its really cool how the lights on the side just flash. Overall really nice picture.
