Faye M- Never Ending Spring

The title of my image is ‘Never Ending Spring’ because of the contrast between the flower and the log it was placed on. It was taken in my moms backyard with my phone about 3 months ago. I started the editing by increasing the vibrance and saturation and then putting a black and white filter over the top. I used a mask and got the color of the flower to show through. I think it would be better if the composition framed the flower a little better.

The extreme color difference in the flower and its surroundings make the picture pops out a lot. The pink in the picture was really pretty. I also like the effort you put in to make the picture really good.

I like the exposure of this photo because the flower is so clear and bright, while the background is darker. I also like the cropping of the photo, because the flower looks better on the side of the picture. If it was in the middle the background would not have been a focus at all. I like the mood of this photo it is very simple.

I love this picture. I really like how you made the background black in white. it really makes the flower pop and it draws your eyes straight to it. I also like how you can really see the detail in the flower. this picture is really great!

I love how color is only focused on the flower while the rest is still black and white. very creative

This photo looks amazing. The focus seems to be partially on the flower while the other focus is on the contrast of the rocks on the right of the flower. The light and dark areas of the photo really stands out as opposed to the average scenic photo. When i saw this photo I was like damn! this photo really catches my eye so I felt that I had to write about it.

This photo is beautiful and evokes a different emotion with every viewer. the pop of color is eye catching. i would suggest adding shading to the photo to make the flower more fitting to be sitting there. overall awesome pic!
