Mariam T - Jewelry

This is a picture I took of jewelry. I used Mr. Rigsby’s Pentax K200. I think this picture would be better if the background wasn’t so dark and empty looking. I do like the tassel in the back because it adds a random pop of color. I also wish I straightened the beads at the bottom because one bead is standing up.

I really love this photo! The black background contrasts greatly with the silver jewelry. The lighting also looks really good, it highlights the piece of jewelry. The pop of yellow definitely adds some color, but I might would have placed it in the front instead of in the background. There is also a random line in the center, but it would clean up easily with the retouch tool. Overall, a really nice photo!
