Carson R - Waving in the Wind

The title of this image is “Waving in the Wind”. This was taken in Tybee Island right off the beach in early January with a Nikon D3400. I brought up the contrast and saturation and sharpened the grain-like plants. I think this image could be better if the ocean was more defined in the background than it is.

This is such a pretty picture. I personally love how the background is less defined than the plants; it's very soft-looking and the warm colors really give off a comforting mood - good job!

I like the use of focus in this image. It has a very mellow and warm tone. The sharpness of the plants has a nice contrast in comparison to the background. Really like it and hope to see more like it.

This picture is so cool looking. It makes me feel like I am on a farm. I grew up going to my grandparents farm all the time so this makes me think of all the great memories I made as a kid. Looking at this picture makes me feel so calm and at peace. I am in love with the color of the sky in this image. This is very beautiful! Great job working with this!

This picture is really cool. I like how some of the plants are in focus and others are not. I also like the color of the background which gives the whole picture a warmer feeling. I agree with you that the ocean being more defined would be cool. This picture is a keeper.

I really like this photo, it's simple, but very nice. I think it could be a bit sharper and agree with you that if you could see the the ocean more it could help the photo. I like the asymmetric balance this photo has and just the general warm feel it gives off.

Great photo! i really like how the warm colors go with the dark. And great job with the focus and a wide aperture! Overall great photo and I really don't think anything could make this better. Hayden H- HHS

Very cool picture! I really like how the warms tones are at the top and the cool tones are at the bottom. The focus and blur of the picture is very precise. You also incorporated lines into the picture, which adds a lot to the image. Great job! Mia R-HHS

I really like this photo because of the warm colors and how it reminds me of the beach.I love how the main focus of the picture are the weed of the ground but if there were one thing I would change it would be to add a background detail.I think if there was a sun or maybe a sports ball in the back the picture would look complete

This picture is really beautiful. I love the way that you focused more on the plants then the background or everything together. I like how the brightness is medium and not really bright or really dark. The color and the tonal range is really good. You did a beautiful job.
