Luiza L.- Backyard

This picture was taken in my backyard. I edited it by making the leaves in the background greener and then increasing the overall warmth of the picture to make it more yellow. I also increased the contrast and brightness to make the picture livelier.

I like how the flower pops out in this picture. The exposure is nice also. The main subject is clear and there isn't any unnecessary space around it. The blur in the background helps bring the pretty pink flower out !!

I love how all the colors work with each other and the some of the details you can see on the flower. Some parts look a little fuzzy but other than that it is a great photo.

I love this picture! The bright pink really stands out, and i love how the background is blurred a little. I wouldn't change anything about this image at all, good job!

Wow, this photo is really cool! I love how the pink stands out from the rest of the picture. I like that the photo is warm, but I think it could be a little less and also I think that it is too grainy in the background, but that's me being nit-picky. This photo is awesome and I love the colors of the flower and the weird petals on it as well.

This is a really nice picture. I love how the pink flower stands out and the background is blurred. You can tell that the flower is the focus of the picture. All the colors are so bright and pretty. Seems like the best picture to take at this time of the year. Great Job.

Wow, this is a really cool picture. I really like the focus that you have incorporated in this picture. The subject of the photo, which is the flower, is in extreme focus while the background is blurred out. This helps draw the viewer's eye to the subject of the picture. Also, I really like how the colors are so vivid. They really help the flower stand out. Another thing that I like about the picture is the fact that you have put the subject in the center of the photo. The subject would not have looked good on a third. Overall, this is a very good photo. Good Job!

This is a very good picture. I love the colors and how you made the pink really stand out. You can really tell that the pink flower is the subject since the background has a slight blur. I think its really good and wouldnt change a thing. An idea for next time though could be maybe making the background black and white or add a lighting effect. overall nice job!

I really like this picture. The colors in the image compliment each other extremely well. I also like how you used the rule of thirds and put the subject on the right side of the picture.

I love all the colors in this picture. I like that there are many colors in the picture but how the color in the flower really pops out. I also like how the flower isn't centered but how it's off to the right. I like the details that are captured in the image. Great job!

Luisa,
I really like your "Backyard" image. The pink flower stands out in the darker and less focused background. Additionally, the increased warmth of the picture makes it seem like it is a nice and bright sunny day outside. The only change I would do is that I would slightly move the flower over to left so it does not look cut off. Overall, excellent job.
