Katie W- Tiger

I took this picture of my cat, Tiger, one day before school. She was laying on the stairs as the sun was shining through the window on our front door. I really like how this image captures her whole body. I also like how her head is more in focus than the rest of her body. I edited this picture by playing with the levels and the curves. I also brightened the image and added a little contrast. If I could change one thing about this image it would be eliminating the shadow that is going across her body.

I love this picture!

I love the subject, because your cat is very cute and you show her in an innocent and adorable way. Great job for capturing that.

I also love the lines of the picture. The light creates an interesting pattern and the line of the stairs lead my eyes across the picture.

Also with the light, a bright and innocent scene is created.

Good job using the elements of art to create a vibrant and beautiful picture!

Katie,
I love this picture! I don't think you should take the shadow out. I like how clear and in focus the photo is. I like how detailed tiger is. I also like how your eye is drawn down the body of the cat but also up the stairs.

This picture is so adorable. I love the subject and how peaceful it looks. The shadows show that there is sun and the cat is basking in it. Plus, the angle of the image is very unique!

Good Picture! I like how the cat is in the whole picture. And i agree with you that it would have looked a lot better if the shadow was not on the cat. But besides that this is a very good picture.

I really like this picture. I think the angle of the picture is really cool and I like the repetitiveness of the stairs. The stairs also act as leading lines and lead you somewhat into the picture. I also really like the lighting and the way the shadows fell. Overall this is a great picture!

The shallow depth of field in this picture works well to really highlight the cat's head and front paws in contrast to the rest of its body. I also like how the cat is spread across the photo to add balance to the photo. Overall, I like this photo because of its sharpness and the interesting lines created by shadows.

I really love this picture of your cat! I especially like how the stairs are lines across the picture and continue on in the background. It is also really nice that you took it at a lower angle where you can slightly look up at the your cat. Even the lighting is very nice.
Great job!
