This is a picture of a Matroshka i took this in my back yard on some construction material. I took this picture for my about me assignment I really like how this picture turned out. I think it could have been better if I had less glare on the Mmatroshka This represents me because I lived in Russia for the past 10 years.

Nice picture! I like the subject of it, and how you chose to display it. The black and white really helps show that the subject is part of your past and displays where you come from. The background also helps complement the picture.

This picture hits close to home, my dad is from Russia and we have tons of these at home i used to play with as a little kid.. I love the the way it looks in black and white, giving it almost an antiquated look. I also like the way you implemented the rule of thirds, putting it in the first third of the photo which i think gives it more effect than if it were centered. I like it!

The black and white contrast brings out the focus on the Matroshka. I love the detail shown in the object and then background looks so simple compared to it. I love the composition and how it's not at a weird angle compared to the Matroshka.
This picture is good. I like how you followed the rule of thirds by putting the doll to the left. Also, the doll is focused pretty well, but it could be sharper. Overall, I like this picture. The black and white makes it look a little bit vintage.
