Madhukar M - Formal Portrait

I took this picture as part of the portrait assignment, as a formal picture. I took it in the courtyard at our school early in the morning. There was plenty of sunlight, allowing a really nice background. I like the shadows and feel that they complement my subject well. However, I feel that parts of the picture were too dark, while others were too light. I may go back and take out some of the modifications I made.

I like it. Cole's off-center, which is a nice touch. Also, the shaows everywhere are a nice touch and the lighting is great in general. The colors are vivid. The only thing that could be improved is decrease the red because his lips are way too bright. Good job.

I like this picture. the vignette is a nice touch! You avoided any objects behind his head that could look weird, and while he is in the shadows, the picture isn't backlit. Well done.

I really like this photo and how the edges are blacked. It makes you focuses on the person more. I aslo like the little rainbow in the bottom corner.

this is a very simple photo, its a photo that i would take home to the family ! u didn't put to much effect on the photo which i like, although i would not have the darken edges , it makes the photo a little more depressing. Ken-C HHS
