Jenna O - Powdered Sugar Goodness

I took this picture on Thanksgiving. It's my mothers homemade pumpkin roll. I love the composure and the detail of the powdered sugar on the plate that you can see. I only boosted the contrast. I could have gotten a straighter picture of the roll.

I really like the detail in this shot. The powdered sugar on the plate looks really defined and the whole image has a crispness to it that makes it almost tangible. Love the shallow depth of field too. Great shot!

I love this picture because of the detail and how well you used blur. The blur really makes you focus on the pumpkin roll as well as major focus on the sugar. It looks so yummy too.

I love this picture! I like how the background is blurred so all your focus is on the front of the roll and the sugar on the plate. It looks so yummy!! Great picture!

I really like this photo, it makes me hungry! I think you did a good job following the rule of thirds with the roll. I also like how the subject is very focused and that I can see all of the powdered sugar that is on the treat. I think this photo could have been better if there wasn't a countertop in front of the napkin and if the background wasn't so busy, but I'm just nitpicking. Overall, this photo is really neat. Great Picture!

This picture is really nice, I like how everything is detailed nicely. Also you focused on the subject very nicely and blurred out the background. Great Job.

I love this photo! it really makes my mouth water. I like how you got the powdered sugar to stand out. It really gives the photo detail! i also like how you only got half of the pumpkin roll in the pic! good job!

I love the depth of field in this picture! The way the background blurs draws my attention to the foreground and the contrast of the bright white plate to the darker background creates an aura of mystery. Furthermore, I love the subject matter. Great job on taking an ordinary object and creating a work of art through the balance in clarity and brightness!
Looks scrumptious!

Jenna,
I love this picture. I love that it is not centered and you can see the powdered sugar on the side of the plate. I like that you can see everything so clearly in the front of the picture but how it is out of focus toward the back of the picture. I love the overall detail in the picture.
