David M- Rim

This picture I took is titled "Rim".  I took the photo of a basketball rim at South Shades Crest at around 5 o'clock.  To take the picture I used the manual setting of my camera.  I edited the photo by centering it, adjusting the levels, and adjusting the brightness and contrast in photoshop.  I also straightened it in iPhoto because the picture was slightly tilted.  The only thing I would change about this picture would be if I could have photographed the rim in focus, instead of just the hook.  Overall, I really like the way this photo turned out.

This Is by far one of the best pictures i've seen.basketball is my love. The Focus OfThe Picture Is A Rim Of A basketball rim. it shows the rust and tearing of it. They Cropped this picture just enough to catch a good effect of it .i really like this picture.

Like they ^ said, this is a really good picture. Very simple, yet very good at displaying the texture of the rim and the string. Im not sure what to improve on this photo either... Very nice.

I love this picture! The focus is just right, bringing the eye in directly to the subject and the background is not distracting and instead the white brings focus on the vibrant red of the rim.
I love the point of view as it gives the viewer a different view on an ordinary object.
Furthermore, the simplicity of the picture has a quiet form of beauty and the small flaws of the subject add realistic and familiar effect.
I don't agree with the photographer who said that the rest of the rim should be in focus; it's perfect the way it is.

I love how simple, yet detailed this photograph is. I love the lighting and the contrast in the colors. I think the rims chips give it more character and having said that, I believe there is honestly nothing that needs to be changed about this picture. I think the closeness gives the greatest detail.

Cool picture. I like the contrast of the colors in the picture. I like how it follows the rules of thirds. I like also how there are chips in the rim.

This is a great picture. The detail is amazing. This is by far the coolest picture I've ever seen of a basketball rim. I like the point of view it provides. If I could change one thing I would have enhanced the orange in the rim. Cool shot.

This is such a cool picture, it really makes you think! I love how you did not get the whole rim and jus got a part, this photo could be in a magazine! I don't think I would change one thing on this picture! It's Awesome just the way it is.
