Jacob T- About Me Still Life
The title of this image is “About Me Still Life.” It was taken at my house on my lower driveway. I took it with a Canon EOS T6 Rebel. I edited it in the photo app and bumped the color up, increased the light with a vignette. I think the items could have been positioned better and taken at a better angle.
Oliva H- Sunset
The title of this image is “Sunset” and it was taken over the weekend in my neighborhood. It was taken with my Canon EOS 7D. I edited it with the photos application, by increasing the saturation, color tone, and the black-points. It could be better if it was more focused and not as blurry. Usually you cannot see the sunset so well from my neighborhood so I was surprised with how bright the colors turned out to be.
Charis H- Dandelion
This photograph is titled Dandelion. It was taken in my neighborhood with a Canon EF-S 55mm. I used vintage edition tool and then sharpened it. It could be more zoomed in.
Carson R - "Summer Love"
I call this image “Summer Love”. It was taken in late July at my aunt’s house in Roanoke, Virginia. I took it with my Nikon d3400. I edited on the photos app. I used the fade filter, slightly raised the color and contrast, sharpened the image and added definition, and added a vignette. I think it would look better if the grass looked a little greener. I tried to take this photo from many angles, and this was my favorite.

Maura P.- The Perch
I took this picture while I was in Nashville dropping my sister off at college. We went to this cute breakfast spot called The Perch and I just had to take a picture of the food. I took the picture with a Nikon Coolpix L310 and I lifted the brightness of the picture because it was dark in the resturant.
Camiya M- Rose Bowl
The title of this picture is Rose Bowl. I took this picture back in April when I was in California for Arcadia Invitational. I put the fade filter on it, turned the exposure down and increased the brilliance, I boosted up uptake saturation so the colors in the sign could stand out a lot more. I wanted the inn to really show so I darkened the thing background by making the intensity higher and sharpen the image by turning the fall off up and sharping the edge, and just to make the outer parts of the picture darker so it could focus in on the center I turned up the radius. Now that I look back at the photo I wish there was little bit more color Thant the red and green rose.
WILL C- Paint Rock
The title of this photo is “Paint Rock”. This picture was taken at Lay Lake on the last fourth of July weekend this past summer. I took this on my phone right before we climbed up to jump off. The rock is around 30 feet tall and is a rally popular spot for people to anchor their boats and chill at the lake. To edit this photo I rotated it to make the angle straight and then put a chrome filter on it. I didn’t do much else significantly different other than turn highlights all the way down and sharpen the image a bit. I could’ve done a better job with the vignette Though.
Abby W- at the Cahaba Brewing Company
This photograph was taken at the Cahaba Brewing Company with my Sony digital camera. I edited it using Photos, where I increased the brilliance and black points, while decreasing the brightness and highlights. I then turned down the contrast and increased the saturation very slightly. The sharpness was bumped up, almost fully, along with definition being bumped about half way. I applied a slight amount of noise reduction and a subtle vignette. This photo would be better if the two side tables were symmetrical, being equidistant from the couch.

Sophia J- Under the Bamboo Trees
This image was taken at the bicentennial gardens on August 27, 2016.
it was taken with a Nik Coolpix S2800.
I brightened and increased the contrast also use HDR Efex Pro filter.
This image could have been a little darker in the Background.

Reid C - World
I love the monotone vibes that this picture gives me. I edited it by making it black and white, cropping out some of the sheets on the bottom right of the photo, and clearing up some of the imperfections on the surface and wall.

Taylor D- Untitled
I didn’t have a specific name for this photo because I just played with the pictures to see which one looked good each other. Both pictures were taken at my house one night for another assignment. It could have been better if the layer with the window was taken at a different angle.
Waseem A- Fire Alarm
I started editing this picture when I first joined digital photography class this semester. I started out by messing around with different photos, and this was one of them. I sharpened the whole picture like crazy and then liquified several parts of the fire alarm. I used the pucker tool to give the alarm an hourglass look. This week I added in some sand to the “hourglass”. What I could have done better to this picture is to crop the sides a little bit more and darken the image a bit. This photo was taken by my iPhone 6S Plus on the E hallway.

Trajan J- The Crib
I call the Panarama the crib because its where i live until our house is finished. But i like this picture so much i did absolutely nothing to it. Thats how it turned out when I took it on my phone. It was kinda annoying to take because I had to spin all the way around. But other than that I it was easy.
Reid B.- Canon 18-55
This picture was taken in February at my house. I took this picture with a Canon Rebel Xsi. I edited it by sharpening some areas and also making it black and white. It could be better if I had focused it a little more. This image was apart of the closeup assignment.
Will H-Night Flame
I took back this September made it darker and just tried to focus on the flame as the main focus of the picture and the light
I took this with my Rebel T5 outside on my deck at like 9
I like this picture because of the light that emanates from the encompassing darkness

Asil H- Landscape jpg
I titled this image as Landscape. I took this picture 8 months ago. I took this picture with my Nikon D3200. I edited this picture by the HDR efex pro.
Joey B Deck/Patio Panorama
I titled this image Backyard/Patio Panorama. I took this from my backyard March 4, 2017 at about six in the evening. I used a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for this photo. This image is a panorama consisting of 27 shots. I edited it by brightening it up and replicating some trees and ground. This would better if I had included shots of all the trees so I would not have to have edited them in.
Ben S - Church
I like the selected image because it is a good picture of my church, which is important to me. The halo effect around the church gives it a nice feel and the way the perspective is warped looks cool. It could have been better with more around the church and some more sky.

Kristie M- Push Button for...
The title of this picture is “Push Button For…” This picture was taken at a crosswalk at the Grove a few months ago. I took this picture with my nikon camera and edited it by using a black and white filter with a mask and then using the brush tool to reveal the yellow in the button. Before creating the black and white layer, I changed the color balance to make the yellow more vibrant and stand out more. The image could have been better if I had removed the scratches and spots on the sign.
Ava W-Husky
This is a picture I took downtown at Railroad Park on a Sunday of a random puppy that me and my friend saw. I just thought the husky was super cute, especially with his blue eyes. I like this picture because it was kind of hard to get a picture of the puppy without it moving, but I finally got one that was pretty good. I edited this a little bit by adjusting the brightness and contrast.
Mitchell R.- Hairy Beast
I call this pic “Hairy Beast” its a pic of my tarantula I didn’t do much I just added a mask. I like how the hairs look and the glowing eyes. I could have done better at touching it up but other than that I really like it.

Satura D.- Next to the State House
This photo was taken in Montgomery next to the state house. I like this this photo because it captures the the memories I have in Montgomery. I also like the blue tint it has to it.
Maddy F- Beach
I titled this picture Beach. I took it over a long weekend in seaside with my Nikon D7000. I edited it by adjusting the levels and curves, and selectively brightening the bird a little bit. I think I could’ve made this better if I was a little closer to the bird
Mattie B - Shades Crest
This picture is titled “Shades Crest” because it was taken of my church during the architecture assignment. I took the pictures with my iPhone 7+ and used photoshop to blend them all together. I think this picture would be a ton better if it wasn’t so blurry.

Raven H ~ Glow
This image is title Glow because of the filter I added over a once poor photo to make it more artistic and intricate. I took this picture in downtown Birmingham in the window of an abandoned building. I think to colorful outlines are really cool and I overall just love this image. I could adjust it to make it a little better but I like it how it is.
Madelyn W- b/ham
This was taken in downtown Birmingham one weekend. To edit this photo I used an edit on vsco called C1. It could be better if all the cars weren’t in it.
Skylar J - JGS
The title of my picture is JGS. It was taken at The Melt about two months ago. It was taken with my iPhone 6s camera. I edited it by using the Nik Collection filters. I also cropped and contrasted it. It could’ve been better if it was a little straighter. I really like the filter on this picture because it gives it an antique feel. Also when I took this, it was my first time going to The Melt.

Matthew G- TRRAAAAIIIN
This picture is called TRRAAAAIIIN. I took this with my Nikon D3300. I was in New Orleans and a train was about to go by. I decided to get as close as a can to it and take some pictures. Resulting in this picture.
Margaret S - Tiny Planet Courtyard
This picture is titled Tiny Planet Courtyard. It was taken in the courtyard one morning before school with my phone. It was originally taken in a series of photos and meant for the panorama assignment. I furthered the concept and made the 360 view into a circular picture with the focus forming a small planet-like shape. It could be better if the lighting was even.
Yash M- Sunrise
This photo is called Sunrise because it is a photo of the sunrise from a few days ago. I took it on my porch a few days ago when I got home in the morning. I took it with my phone. I didn’t edit it much but I did bump the saturation up a bit. It could have been better if I didn’t have that lens flair. I thought it was a pretty cool photo.

Semahj R- Black Sunflower
I took a photo of a youflower a while back in the digital photography studio room with my canon rebelxs . i used a 50mm lens for this shot and i just chose this picture because i really like the bright colors within the picture.
Maddi S- Fair
This photo was taken with my Cannon Rebel t3i during the Oak Mountain State fair last year. The fair at night time makes for a great photo. The bright lights stand out more.
Matthew G. - Mail Time
This picture is called Mail Time. It is a picture of my mailbox at my house. I put a cool filter on it from the nik collection to give it a nice effect. I used my Nikon D3300. I could have focused it a little better.

Mahita T- Eyes
I titled this image eyes. I took this picture from my bedroom window a long time ago. I took this picture with my Nikon D60 camera. I edited this picture by using another image from a previous assignment and layered it onto this image. I blended in a way where only the eyes were shown through the window. I think this image could be better if the eyes were much clearer.
Tyler L-Samford
I call this photo Samford because it was taken at Samford University while on a Finance Academy trip on Thursday March 16th. I edited it by sharpening the foreground to give it more focus so people who look at it draw there attention to the statue. It could be better if the statues color was more defined from the colors of the back ground.
