Reid B.- Canon 18-55

This picture was taken in February at my house. I took this picture with a Canon Rebel Xsi. I edited it by sharpening some areas and also making it black and white. It could be better if I had focused it a little more. This image was apart of the closeup assignment.

This is a good photo. The lens is very much in focus, given that the image is so close up. I think it was a good idea for you to make this photo black and white. There are very dark and very light areas, making the image still vibrant despite not having colors. You succeeded in telling the story demonstrated through the very legible words written around the lens.

This is a great shot. I really like the sharp focus on the lens. I feel like the photo could have been just a little bit better if there was a deeper depth of field with the same focus on the lens. I really liked the black and white filter used as well as the cropping.

Nice shot. I like how you put a black and white filter on the picture. I also like how some of the lense is cut off. I feel the picture would have been better if the focus was more towards the right of the picture on the lense. MH-HHS

I really like ow this image is black and white, I do not know how to explain it but the image has an artsy feeling to it, I can clearly see you are expressing who you are and what you do in this image. I also like how the main focus of it is on the lans with a neutral background that gives the details on the camera a chance to get exposed too. I really like how the smaller lines can be seen also. Great job!

This is a really good photo. Being as close as it looks, the lens is in great focus. Making this photo black and white really helped enhance the dark parts of the lens and the white letters.

This picture is pretty OK. I like how it's in focus, but it lacks depth and doesn't really make sense. Other than that, great image!

Cool picture. I like how shallow the depth of field is. I like how it is b/w. Overall the picture is a keeper and i would hang it anywhere.
