Heath M- The Edge

The title of this image is called “The Edge.” I took this picture with my Canon EOS 40D when my church youth group went to Ocoee, Tennessee a while back ago. I edited this image by cropping, straightening, and playing with the curves toolbar. I believe that this picture could be better by darken the subject to where he is very dark or possibly gotten a different shot where you can see the sunrise more vividly.

This is a cool photo dude. I like the sunset and how it holds one color but with lots of variance. The silhouette is partial and that's awesome. Good photo overall. I would maybe decrease the brightness a tiny bit on the guy and increase it on the light.

i like this photo because it has a really chill vibe. I like the way the sunset in the back looks and the one off centered subject. It looks like a hiker who just made it to the top and it is really good.

I really like this photo. I like how everything looks black and white, but the sunset has such a deep orange color. I also think putting the person in the photo was a good touch so it doesn't just look like flat landscape. I also like it's not over edited. This is a really nice picture and you did a good job at editing it.

I really like this image. The colors are really nice, with the neutral grays flowing into the red of the sunset. I like how the person is silhouetted by the sunset and the composure of the shot.

This photo is dope. love how the colors surrounding the sunset are grayish and not harsh. With this being said it makes the sunset stand out more. The photo is very well positioned its really straight and precise. Great Job.

Cool shot Heath! I love the colors of the sunset and how they define the subject as a silhouette. I like how the image is cropped to where the person is the obvious subject but the background still is interesting. I like this picture and its a keeper. And thanks for taking me home the other day.

Heath This is a great photo! I love the lighting it gives where the person is almost just a silhouette. I really enjoy all the cropping you did, not any unwanted things. Everything is still balanced too, you have the person on the right but then you have the sunset coming from the left to balance it out. This is an all around great photo!!!- Landon H HHS

The red over the mtn tops that are barely peeking out looks so cool. I also like the way that you that the guy in your photo looks and how he is kinda silhouetted in the frame.

This photo is really cool. I like the way the sunset shines across the sky at the bottom. The lightening and composure of the shot is really nice and I like how the sunset stands out being that it is the first thing you look at.

I like pretty much everything about this picture. I like how the texture of the clouds never really changes it makes the silhouette more prominent. I also like how the image is all grey and black except for the red that cuts though the bottom third of the image. I would have said to crop the right a little more to make the figure follow the rule of thirds more but there are some pretty hills in the background so I can see why you didn't crop it.

I really like this picture. It looks really calming and like the subject has no worries what so ever. I love the background and the variation of color in the sky with the sunset. I don't think the subject can be any darker I believe its great the way it is. Bu this photo is amazing!

I really like this picture. Making yourself all blacked out and the rest of the image is awesome. Almost looking like a weird shadow. It's one of the best edits, in my opinion, keep up the good work! :)

This is a very nice picture. I like the way the person in the picture is underexposed so that we can see a slight silhouette. I also like how the image is very monotone in color but the hint of orange and red is at the bottom. I think if the subject is darker and the saturation is increased the picture would be better. Overall this is a really nice picture.

This is great! I love the darker colors in the photo which makes the orange sunset pop in the background. I also love that even though you cannot see his face, it is known that the person is the main subject in the photo. The sunset also creates a nice line. I do not see anything that needs any touching up. Good Job!

Great shot! I love the mountains in the background. Also the warm colors in the very back, but what I like most is how the cloudy sky just takes over most of the image. It's almost as if the person in the picture isn't even in the picture, if that makes sense. But also this is a really great image.
