Traci M- Marbles

This picture is titled marbles. I took this picture in my dining room with my Cannon Rebel. I edited this picture by lowering the saturation, raising the details, and bringing up the exposure. This picture could be better if the marbles in the foreground were more in focus. 

Ivy U- Beach

The title of my picture is beach. It was taken last year during spring break in Destin FL. I took this picture with my iPhone. I edited it by using Instagram. it would be better if the sand wasn't so white.

Mary Kate B- Crisp Weather

This photo is titled Crisp Weather. It was taken in my backyard at the beginning of October. I took it with my iPhone and edited it throughout photoshop. I turned up the contrast and sharpened the picture. It could have been better if I had taken it with a better camera. I like this photo because of the angle and it reminds me of Autumn.

Bailey T- AK the Magnificent

The title of my selected image is the magnificent AK. This picture was taken in the back room of the digital photography room on Wednesday October 23. This photo was taken with a PENTAX K200D. I edited this picture in photoshop by contrasting the image and making it all black and white. finally i brought out the colors in AKs sweater that i thought described her. The photo could have been better if I would have fixed the lighting before i took the image and made to darker. 

Shelby A- Flower

the title of picture is flower. I used a Cannon EOS to take it. I edited it my enhancing it, boosting up the contrast, and I used the retouch up. I took it about a month ago on my grandparents anniversary. I like how it turned out but I wish it was a little more focused.  

Kinsey V- Leah

The title of this picture is "Leah". I took this photo with my Nikon 3000 in the park across from my house around 4 o'clock on October 14th. I edited this image by bumping up the contrast and exposure. Then, I used the Spot Healing tool to erase any blemishes on her face. I also made this photo into black and white and messed with the high lights. I think this picture could have been better if the person was more focused and the grass was blurred out a little more, but overall I love this picture. 

Hannah S- Milly Moo

This picture is titled Milly Moo because that is my best friends nickname, and this picture is of my best friend. I took this picture at Moss Rock about 2 weeks ago. I used the retouch tool and then I tinted this picture, so it took a lot of time to color it. I feel like this picture could not be any better. I made this picture for my friend as a present so I hope she likes it:) 

Allison S- Abandoned Charity Hospital

The title of this picture is called "Abandoned Charity Hospital". This was taken in New Orleans. It was taken with my Canon Powershot. To edit this, I made it black and white and added a lot of contrast. It could be better if the tops of the buildings in front of the main hospital building weren't so dark.  

Aleena B- Demons In The Dark

This photo is called Demons In The Dark. I love this picture because of the lighting and the filters I used to create the dark and ominous feel of it. This photo was taken in the corner of my room where my light hang from my wall. I used the crosshatch filter and played around twitch the curves of the photograph to make it darker in certain areas. I also used the eraser tool to touch it up a bit.

Ben F- In to the Tunnel of Darkness

The title of this picture is In to the Tunnel of Darkness. It was taken at the train tracks near the old Bumpus on the railroad tracks. It was taken on October 19th, 2013. I edited this picture by lowering the vibrance on the background but boosted the saturation on my Patagonia backpack. I could have made this picture better by adding more detail to the walls of the tunnel and taking out some of the color of the weeds at the lower left and right sides of the tunnel.

i titled this image soccer ball. I took this image in my yard on october 3rd 2013. It was taken with a canon Powershot A4000 IS. I edited it by turning the picture black and white and then restoring the color to the ball. i could have used a ball witless scratches. 

IsaacE-Black Hole Sun

The title of this image is Black Hole Sun. The picture was taken in front of my and my neighbor's house, facing the sun. this picture was taken during the Night and Day assignment. I messed around with the color settings and made it look really cool, and turned the resultant greens red. I then selected the sky, and colored it a purplish grey. The edits made me think of the podcast "Welcome To Night Vale," so i made a transparent layer mask and washed out the eye design used on the "cover" of the podcast. I then made a white dot in the middle of the spot where he sun was, and then but a smaller black dot in the middle of that. I spent way too much time doing this.

Jacob T- Shadows

This photo is titled Shadows. This was taken a few weekends ago when me and a few friends went mudding. I liked this photo because the way that the person is shadowed on the truck and all of the other shapes and shadows that are on the truck.

Nicholas A- War Eagle

The title of this picture is War Eagle. This picture was taken on a Saturday afternoon down in Auburn, AL. This was taken around 6 pm in Jordan Hare Stadium. I took this photo with my iPhone 4s. i edited this picture by adding a black and white background and then coloring thee stand and the AU sign in the middle of the field. i also messed around with the saturation and vibrance. I really liked how this picture turned out. I like the brightness in the stand but the it goes grey in the sky. 

Morgan C- Dandelion

This picture is titled Dandelion. I took this picture last summer in Tennessee, my family goes to Dollywood and Gatlinburg every summer and this was one of the pictures I took. I edited it on a computer program I have called photofilter. I like this picture as it is so I probably wouldn't change anything.

The title of this image is sunshine. It was taken one afternoon after school from my front porch. I took this picture with my iPhone 4s. I edited this picture by boosting the contrast. It could have been better if I would have spent a little more time editing it in photoshop. 

Anna Kathryn D- Fall Flowers

This picture was taken on a Sunday afternoon on my friends front porch. I took this picture with a Nikon D50. I edited the picture by adding contrast and enhancing it. It could be a lot cooler if i would've focused in on one flower and the others were apart of the background, not the main focus. 

Justin N - In a Window.

The title of this image is "In a Window". This was taken in the A hall stairwell on the third floor a year ago. It was taken with my iPhone. I edited it by slightly increasing the contrast and saturation and by cropping out part of the photo. I really like the way it turned out and don't think I could have done anything to make it better.

This photo is titled Ashlyn. It was taken on September 1st in my car. I edited it by increasing the contrast and brightening it. I also added the boost effect. It could be better by making her look less orange.

I took this photo on my front porch. It was taken with my rebel cannon EOS. i gave this photo slight edge blur. i don't think this photo could be any better.

The name of this photo is PInk Flower. It was taken on October 1, 2013 around my mailbox at home with a Kodak EasyShare M550. I edited it by boosting the warm effect and using the boost effect once. It could be better if I had cropped it a little more. 

Hope W- Best Friends

The title of my picture is "Best Friends". It was taken at my house during labor day weekend. I took the photo with a Canon Powershot SX500 Is. I enhanced the photo, erased some of the blemishes, brightened the exposure, increased the saturation, increased the highlight, and sharpened the image. I think this could be better if I tried from different angles and in different lighting. This represents who I am because my cousins, my brother, and I are all extremely close. We hang out all the time and love being around each other. I enjoyed this assignment. I liked taking photos and deciding on how things could be used to represent me.

IsaacE- The Open Woods

The title of this picture is "The Open Woods).

it was taken behind my neighbors house.

I took this picture with my Nikon D3200 using an 18-55mm lens. The zoom was all the out, at 18mm, the f-stop was set at f/3.5, and the shutter speed was 1/60 of a second.

I highlighted the tree trunks, the bricks, and the large rock in the back, and made them black and white. I then inverted the selection, and boosted the brightness using boy the levels tool and the brightness option. I also boosted the vibrance by a large amount, and boosted the saturation some.

I believe that the picture could be better by removing the bricks, they just look out of place.

the camera on my iPod is not very good and caused the picture to be really fuzzy

Nick F. - My Glove

The title of the picture is "My Glove". I took the picture at shades mountain park in the afternoon. I took the picture with my Nikon D40. I edited the picture using iPhoto on the schools Mac. In iPhoto I adjusted the levels and contrast. I turned the saturation down all the way and clicked avoid saturating skin tones. I tired the definition and sharpness all the way up. I played with the highlights, shadows and de-noise. I would not change anything about this picture.

Th Title of the Photo is Stalker. I took it in front of my neighbor's house in August minolta AF DT

I edited it with Antique X4, Edge Blur X3, Faded it X1, and Boosted it X3. To me the Photo is a little out of focus and I was to close to the cat.

Iman S- Panera

My image that i chose is called Panera. This photo was taken on Sep 4, 13 at Patton Creek. This picture was taken with my Nikon CoolPixs camera. I turned on Sepia, Matte 7 and Vignette 3. This picture may have been better if it was taken from the front of Panera and not the side. This is one of my favorite pictures so far.

This photo is called California. It was taken in San Diego and taken July 31, 2013. My iPhone. I touched it up and used boost. I think it looks fine the way it is. I just like that its a flower and cactus.  

Samantha W -Axis 2013

I named this picture Axis 2103, because it was taken on a beach trip that I took with my church, this August, called Axis.  I took this picture with a Nikon Coolpix L110.  I edited this by boosting the color and adjusting the exposure content and saturation. I could have been better if I would have gotten a better angle on the shot.

Diggy B- Dustbowl

The title of this picture is Dustbowl, because I really love that song by Ocean Liner, and it's the only thing I can think of. This picture is of the top of this tall poky, bush thing with the sun behind it. This picture was taken September 9th in my driveway. I edited this picture using Pixlr and I edited it by adjusting the brightness and contrast, making it brighter to bring back the detail of the bush. I then added scan lines, and boosted the sharpness to again, bring the detail back in the bush. I think it could be better if that one cloud on the right wasn't there. I really like the tone and colors in this picture.

This picture was taken on September 2 around 7 pm. This picture was taken with my Nikon D70.

I edited this picture by enchanting the overall picture, putting it in Sepia, and boozing it four times. i also increased the exposure, contrast, and saturation. This photo could be better, if you didn't see the flash from my camera. 

This picture was taken when me and my friends went mudding.

Jalin R- Baller

This is a picture of a basketball. I took this picture in my room, I really like this picture because the angle that it was taken at and its shadows. I adjusted the sharpness and boosted its colors and adjusted its shadows. I love how the pink color really catches your eye in the photo.

This is titled soccer. I took this photo in my backyard september 2 2013. Fija Film s4830. I added contrast and definition and i also boosted the image. This picture could be better if i the grass was a bit more fine looking.

Logan M- Lone Orange Canna Lily

I took this on September 2 behind my house. I took this with my iPhone 4s because my camera was broken. This is a picture of one of my canna lilies behind my house after an intense thunderstorm. I boosted the contrast and saturation to help define and bring out the colors. I also boosted the sharpness and the definition. I did this to make the fainter lines in the flower more visible and pop out. I would love to go back and take some more pictures with some better clarity and change the aperture to help keep the focus in the foreground.
