Grace A- Butterfly

The title of this image is Butterfly. It was taken on October 13th, 2021, outside my house on a lantana bush. It was taken with a Nikon D50. I edited the picture by mainly lowering the contrast, but then raising the saturation of the oranges and yellows in the butterfly and the flowers. I added a slight vintage filter over the photo to finish it. It could be better if a bokeh was added around the edges of the photo, but otherwise there aren’t any other changes I would make.

I really love this image! I love how vibrant the orange of the flower is and the dark orange on the wings of the butterfly. I also like that the lighting is brighter in the front and dark in the background. i would definitely hang this on my wall. -Elizabeth C. HHS

I like how detailed this image is. Getting such a clear picture of something like a butterfly can be really hard with such great detail. The framing is great in this as well. Good job.

I really love this image! The way the patterns and colors stand out is outstanding and I love the aesthetic type edits. The way it stands out in the image is amazing while everything else is blurry. I think you did a great job, keep up the good work!

I love this picture looks it is very beautiful. It looks really good and capturing a moment like this is pretty hard. I think the color of it could be a little more vibrant but I overall really like this.

I really love this photo! I love how the everything is a dull color except for the oranges in the flower and butterfly! That was a great call, it really makes this photo interesting to look at. I do wish that maybe the fence weren't quite so dark,, so that maybe the butterfly's antennae stood out a bit more from the background. This is a gorgeous photo! Good job.

This is so pretty! The butterfly makes me so happy. I liked how you blurred out the background, it makes the butterfly pop. Very nice job!

I think this is a great image. I love how it focuses on the butterfly and the flower and how all the other colors are dull except the butterfly and the flower great job.

I really love this image and how vibrant you made the orange flowers/butterfly. Very Vivid. I like that the lighting/sunlight was not too bright but just right for the picture. Anyway this image is great!

I think this is an exceptional photo. Your ability to capture a butterfly in focus is incredible. It is so hard to get a focused image when something is constantly in motion. I also really love how vibrant all the colors are, and how the photo has a predominately orange theme. I really do not have a negative critiques about this photo. Great job! -CH

I think your photo is pretty good. I love all nature photography and believe it poses as one of the greatest of all types of photography. I think the balance you have here with the main focus of the butterfly and the backdrop of darkness in the edges of the picture really ties it all together pretty well. Keep up the good work and keep taking pictures of butterflies!

I really like your photo! I really like how the color of the flowers pop against the white of the butterfly. I think this photo is really interesting conceptually and I would totally print this out and hang it in my house.
