Gabby W - Rose

The title of this photograph is Rose. I took this photo in my kitchen sometime around September of last year. I shot this time with my Nikon 3100 DSLR. I added some vibrancy to the rose itself and darken the background a bit to take the rose to stand out. It would have been better if I had used several roses instead of one to add some interest to the photo.

The contrast with the brightly colored flower and the dark background is great. I love how this picture is framed with the very upper part of the flower concealed from the shadow. Good job.

I love the color of this flower. I really like how the light hits different parts of it and not all of it. Personally I think the one rose makes the photo stand out even more.

I love this color! I really like how the colors of the rose stand out against the dark background. You chose great lighting, and edited it really well! I agree, I think more flowers would be cool, however just the one flower is very beautiful. Good job!

I love this photo! I think you did a really great job with the vibrancy in this image, but also really love the dark background that makes the flower pop! The contrast and composition is nice, and I don't feel like it is lacking anything only having one rose. Overall, I think you did a really great job with this image!

I really like this photo! I love the colors and the vibrancy! I like how the background is dark, making the rose pop out. I like how sharp and focus the rose is. This photo gives me Beauty and the beast vibes. Overall, you did a great job!

I like the brightness of the colors and the darkness around the flower

I love this photo! The focus is very nice and the sun shining on the flower is very pretty. The lighting makes the photo have a royal vibe and it really brings the color out really well. I think that it could be cropped a bit more but overall I love the way that the light is shinning!
