Bryson S - Cool Rails

I took this image with a zoom lens Canon DSLR by train tracks near my house. The image itself wasn’t anything special, but I used it as an opportunity to work on editing with color. I put a color filter and a channel mixer with a slanted gradient on the image to get the desired effect. I’m a fan of contrast, so the areas where pure color hit the monochromatic rocks hit the colorful trees looked cool to me.

This is one of the best photos I've seen. The colors are beautiful. The focus is good. The composition is great. It reminds me of a tame Impala album cover. Very well done.
