Dontreal L- 7pm in New York

The image was taken in Manhattan, New York around 7 pm, so that’s why I named it “7 pm in New York.” It was taken with a Sony DSC-W830 camera. I simply added a black and white filter on it. I could’ve made it cleaner looking like add sharpness to it.

This is a pretty great photo overall. I love this contrast of the building in the background to the street lights. Although, I think that this image could be better by adding a little bit of sharpness to it and maybe turning the brightness down just a bit to fade out the brightness from the streetlight.

This picture is so pretty! I love black and white. I love the building behind it and the street light behind it. I also really like the street sign.

I like the black and white and the angle the picture was taken it doesn't make the picture plan and dry and average

The positioning of the light pole draws your eye to it. The lighting nicely compliments the street signs. I like this photo because of the interesting angle.

I like the depth of field in this photo because I feel like it is close enough to know that the street sign is the main subject, but also far away enough that you can see other surroundings relevant to the sign. I like how the picture is relevant to the rule of thirds. It is centered in the top left corner. I like the mood of the photo, especially with the title, because you can almost imagine the simplicity of the moment. I also like the fact that the picture isn't so sharp, I almost feel like it would look cool with some grain.

I love this picture because it reminds me of a scene in a film noir. The black and white giving it an old movie feel. The picture seems over all balanced even though there is more darkness the focal point being light and the light coming from the windows make up for it. The focus is clear despite of the things around it and it not being in the center of the picture.

This is a really cool picture! I really like the way you edited it with the black and white filter because it shows contrast between the building and the lights. I also like the angle that it was taken with, it helps give the picture more perspective! Really cool!
