Megan C - Golden Softness

The image is named “Golden Softness” and it was taken February in 2017. I edited it by using brilliance, shadows, black point, contrast, and saturation. I took this image with my Nikon D3400 with it’s zoom lens. It could be better if it wasn’t as orange in the background, but I’m happy with the result.

This photo is beautiful! The soft lighting really adds to the texture of the plants. I think the darkness of the background, even if it's a little orange, really helps to highlight the plants. The darkness provides a great contrast for the reeds. This photo makes me feel calm and happy The lighting and color makes me feel like i could have seen this before, almost like a feeling of nostalgia. All-in-all, I really love this photo!

This is such a great picture! The way that the light reflects off of the plants gives it a really cool affect where you can see the details. I also love how soft it looks with eh color combinations. Really pretty!

This is a really good photo. The lighting is so subtle and calm. I love the focus on the feathery plants. The light areas are so pretty and the dark areas make the light areas stand out softly. I love the soft, gold color tone. This photo makes me feel calm. It is like you can almost see/feel the breeze. I would definitely keep this in my house. Love it, good job!

I love this photo! The focus in the photo and how it showcases the plants, while blurring the background, is really well done. I like the leading lines that are present in the photo from the stems of the plants. The lines from the tree branches add a cooler affect to the photo too! Overall, I really liked this landscape photo!

I love this photo it is so pretty!!! the way the colors fade at the top right and it loses focus is so gorgeous. I love this photo and the name is so beautiful and fits with the photo. It looks focused but if you look a little harder its not and thats so pretty to me.

This is a really cool picture! I love how it has a fore, middle, and background, with the subject being very sharp and in focus, the branches of the tree a little less so, and the background very blurred. I like how the soft colors emphasize the texture of the plants and keep them standing out against the background. The photo has a really nice, peaceful vibe.

Very good quality picture the light really accents the detail on the plant and gives it a nice smooth texture. I would have increased the contrast just a little bit more and focused in on the plants more.

This photo is so cool! I like how the lighting is very soft. I also think that the orangish cast to the photo enhances the photo and makes it more "golden" looking. I think the photo is relatively balanced between the light foreground and the dark background. I like the mood of the photo because I feel like it represents the changing of the seasons and its very simplistic.
