Macy M - Happy Place

This image is called “Happy Place” because it is the one place I have found where I can be at peace. This was taken on an early morning in July at Montreat. This was taken with my mom’s Canon Rebel T3. I darkened the image and added a warm tint to it. I wish some of the smaller details were not in the image. The whole image’s effect is from the morning fog.

This picture is really cool. I like how the colors are balanced between different shades of green and yellow. I also like hoe the depth of field makes it look like the building is being sucked into the trees. It kinda reminds me of an apocalyptic TV show or movie. Jacob T HHS

I really like this picture. The soft lighting is nice with the overall piece and adds a mystical element to it. The yellows and greens make an interesting color scheme and adds depth. The mood is really cool and seems kind of like a setting from a story book, as if it is not of this world. Nice Job, excellent piece.

I really like this photo. I love the architecture and how beautiful the early morning makes the photo. The body of water also adds some drama to the photo. I really like pictures like this, so it immediately caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Overall. great photo! Keep up the good work!

I love this picture and the somewhat dreary style, and the rising fog. And the old vintage looking building is absolutely amazing. The framing is also really good.

Macy!
I really like this picture a lot. The balance of color from the darkness of the water and the woods and the fog in the sky makes the picture look very balanced. I like the mysterious vibes the picture gives off. The balance and light to dark colors from the top to bottom of the picture shows the height and area depth. I really like this picture and would definitely hang it up.

I really love the mood this picture gives off! It seems like it is a beautiful hidden place in nature. I love how the lighting makes it seem like there is a big misty cloud in the top of the picture. I feel like the main focus of the building is perfect, yet subtle. The lighting is gorgeous as well. The color range is beautiful, with the more neutral tones being used. It helps set the peaceful tone. This photo is a keeper!

i like the way how this image is, i like how its just a building that is covered around trees. like how its has fog on top to and how their is a lake.

You may dislike the smaller details' appearances, but I think it truly puts the whole image together. The lights' reflection and the fog in the distance makes the emotion of the photo gloomy and ominous, which I really like. The subject is obvious and I love the ways that you edited it. Good job, it's definitely a keeper!
