Olivia H.- Sea Blue Shell

This picture is called Sea Blue Shell. I took this photo with my Canon. This shot was taken in my house by a window for the natural lighting. To edit this I sharpened the shell and enhanced the brightness, I also darkened the edges. If I had to change something about it I would want the shell to be completely sharp and not blurry.

I like this photo because of the way that the blurriness in the background makes the end of the shell fade out of focus. It keeps your eyes focused and on track for what is actually important which is this side of the shell. The color blue is also nicely shown in this photo. It isn't prominent but noticeable throughout the whole shot.
Great shot all around!

This is so cool. I really like that you have a super sharp focus so that all the details are shown in the shell. I love that you had a black background which allows the blue to pop. This picture is also really balanced with the black background but bright light source to capture all the details. I can not really find anything to change in this picture, so great job!

I really like this picture! I like they way you focused really closely to the shell. It shows all the little detailing. I like the angle you took this shot from. I also think having the back of the shell out of focus makes your picture look really nice. Your picture has a very vivid blue and cool colors. I think your picture is nicely balanced also with the light and dark areas. Overall, this picture is great!

This is so good. I like how you set the focus more towards the bottom of the shell and the angle you used to take the picture of the shell to make the spikes really pop out. I also like how the background is black and there is a light faced directly on the face of the shell. Like you said, the picture would have been better if you had taken a sharper picture, but other thank that it's flawless. MH-HHS

This picture is so cool. I love the tones and the texture of the subject. The outlining fades into the black background in sort of an ombre look. The angle it was taken from is perfect. You really focus on the subject because of the dark background. Great Job!!

I love this picture so much! I love the different colors of the shell! The different blues are just gorgeous. I loved the blurred edges of the picture. I really like the blurry parts of it I would keep the picture the way it is. This one you could defiantly blow up!-Sarah Page Harvey-HHS

This is an amazing picture! I really like how you were bale to capture the detail in the shell. The black background along with the blur helps draw the attention to the main subject. The color of the shell is very vibrant and I agree with you to keep the shell shaped instead of the blur effect that it has. Awesome picture, it's a keeper!

Cool pic! I really like the way that the black background makes the onlooker pay more attention to the shell and its detail. I also like all the little ridges and designs of the shell that make this picture look so vivid and enthralling. I also like how the blurriness of the edges of the shell make the picture more interesting and professional. Overall, I think that this is a great image. Keep up the good work! Heath M - HHS

Love this image! Love the contrast and the darkness of this picture. I also love the angle you got of this. The color on the shell are very well visible. If you added any saturation it looks great! Also I like how the only importance of this picture is the shell and the background is black making the shell the only thing to look at. Really great picture!
