Julia M- New York

This photo is called “New York” because of the New York city overlay I put on myself. The picture of New York was taken a year or so ago but the portrait of myself was taken a couple weeks ago. Those pictures were taken with my NikonD80. I edited this picture by adding 2 overlays with soft light of the city, one flipped to mirror the other. Then I added some saturation and coloring enhancements to really make the picture pop. I think this picture could have been better if it wasn’t so grainy with the overlay.

I really love how this one ended up. I love how you made the lighting all around visible so that the picture is well illuminated. I also think that this picture is a great example of how the rule of thirds is not always the right choice, because this picture looks great centered. Overall I think that this picture is definitely a keeper.

Wow this picture is awesome!!! The under tones of new York city make the portrait look really cool. Also, the way the girl is posing is pretty unique and different and I really like how her eye color matches the background. I love his pic!!!

WOW!!!! This is an awesome picture. I really love this picture. You always have great pictures. I love how trippy that picture looks. It is so awesome. The way you used the buildings to go into your face was really cool.

This picture is so cool. First off I like the picture of yourself because it looks like you're just chillin and your eyes really stand out. Adding New York City on top of your own picture was such a cool idea. It's like you're there in New York City just not physically. I wouldn't change anything to this picture because it was really creative and you edited it well. Nice.

This picture is super cool! I really like the skyscraper symmetry you've got going on here. It was also a cool choice to cover one of your eyes. The blue is also a good color for the background.
