Maci H - Lighten Up

The image I am submitting to the photo blog is “Lighten Up”. I took this a few nights ago outside of Moe’s Barbecue in Patton Creek. The picture was taken with my iPhone 6s Plus. I used Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 to edit this picture and added the color filter with Color Efex Pro 4. This picture could have been better if I had cleaned it up a little more.

I really like this picture. The contrast is very nice as it brings the bulb up as the subject. The composition is very nice and even. Good stuff!

This is an amazing picture. I love how you can see the filament inside of the bulb. The little glares from the glow is very nice. I think it it awesome considering you only took this with your phone. Nice job.

This is cool! I like how you can see the bolt and al the wire stuff inside the bulb. I think it would be better if you cleaned uo the colors in the black space so you can focus on the bulb more.

this is a really good picture. I love how you see the detail in the light bulb and the glare is nice. this picture is interesting. I kind of wish the inside of the bulb was a little brighter.

This picture you took looks awesome. Keep up the good work and it's interesting on how you edited the image. The light bulb is so detailed and the glare is nicely added. The inside of the light bulb could have been brighter in my opinion.

This picture is cool. The amount of light that the camera captured is perfect for this picture. Its not over powering where you cant see past it but its not so subtle that you aren't able to define it. The little specks of color in the background make all the difference in the world when looking at the image as a whole. The lightbulb reminds me of science or something very technical.

Very cool picture, I love how it focuses directly on the light and the shading in the background is also really good. Keep up the great work. I really love how everything is about the light and it's reflections!

I really like this picture! i like how its all focused on the bulb and the rest is darkend around it. Its not too much light and it gives the perfect brightness. I ike how you can see inside the bulb too, i ads a cool "feel" to it. Good job!

I really like this photo! Everything is all balanced, you can see the subject clearly, it's not too far off to the left or right. This is an overall good photo. The only things I would change is getting rid of the reflection, cleaning the bulb, and maybe getting rid of some of the other lights in the background.

This picture is amazing. I love how it's focused on the thing in the bulb(I don't know what it's called), and it's dark around it. Having it in the center makes the focus on the subject better. I agree with you though about cleaning it up. Overall great photo.

This picture is very interesting. I love the way that it focuses in on the center of the light. I much prefer the way that you centered this picture rather than using rule of thirds, I think it fits much better. Overall this picture evokes a sort of bleak but hopeful feeling in me.
