Margaret S - Nail

The image titled Nails was taken around my lake house this weekend. I edited it by focusing on the biggest nail and sharpening it. I added a black and white filter to the image and brightened it some. The image could be better if I had been able to focus on more than one aspect of the scene.

This is a great photo. The lighting illuminates the block of wood and puts emphasis on the nails. There block of wood and the row of nails create some very geometric leading lines, drawing the viewer's eyes into the photo. You succeeded in telling the story by zooming in a lot on the nails.

I really like this picture! I like how you used a sharp focus on the nail in the middle. I also liked your use of a black and white filter that is not just gray, but it also shows dimension and the smaller details.

I like how this image has great details. I also like how the shadows of the subjects is cast over each other in the background. The lighting of this image looks sharp which give the subject a nice view point. This close up is amazing because of the triangle shapes its creating. it also has great leading lines.

This image is great. The detail is amazing, you can see the grain of the wood and everything. I like how you are focused toward the center nail. I really like the rustic look, I think that you chose right when you made it black and white. Overall this is a great photo.

I think this is a really like this photo. I like this in black and white, I think it adds a good "mood" to the photo. I like how you took it a angle. Making the center nail the focus i like because i think it draws you to the photo. Overall a good photo. Great job.

Cool Photo! I like how the nails are sharp and in focus. The lighting helps the success of this photo by how the light shows the subject but the dark is the background. This photo gets me in a rural blue collard like mood.

ohhhhh. This is one pretty picture. I like how the focus is in the middle of the image. The black and white is very interesting and vey nice to the eyes. If the focus was the problem, layer stacking is awesome. Great work. Matthew G. - HHS
