Maci H - Twisted

The image I am submitting to the photo blog is “Twisted”. I took this during the day on December 8th in my backyard. The picture was taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. I used Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 to edit this picture by raising the saturation and exposure and adding a black and white mask. This picture could have been better if I had lowered the brightness a little.

This picture is really cool. I like how it is centered in the middle of the page. Something you could have done was keep the wire the color it was and just put a black and white mask on the background. Overall this is a good photo.

I like this photo. I like how the points of the barbed wire is cropped to where you center it. I think that to improve it you should increase the composition of the photo. This photo is very interesting.

I really like this picture because of its simple beauty. The wire is really nicely define and the grays, blacks, and whites, work well to dramatize the image. The only thing I would've done differently would be to blur the background a little more. It kind of looks like it has a weird texture to it but overall this is a really cool pic.
