Ben S- Army Man

This image is called Army Man and I took it in my living room. I used two flashes and a macro lens. I just sharpened the face and words to edit it. I like it because it has a shallow depth of field, which is nice. It could be better if the gun were in focus too.

This is a great photo, Ben. I like how it is focused on the army man and that the depth of field is small. I like how you put the army man on the declaration of independence, i think that it gives it a bit of a story behind this man. Overall I really like this picture.

This photo is truly great! I like how much you focused on the army man and the words right underneath him. I like how you didn't show the whole army man. I like that it is just of his arms and face. Zooming in on him really gives the photo an awesome look! Good Job!-Sarah Page H.-HHS

This picture is really really cool. Not only is it a good close up physically, it also goes deeper in meaning. The focus in this picture really good. The words on the page can also represent leading lines. The overall message and the image itself are awesome. Good Job!

Nice photo! The exposure is really nice and I like how you can see the light in the soldier's hat. I can tell you paid attention to the rule of thirds when you cropped this photo. By positioning the soldier like he is in battle, you succeeded in telling the story.

Cool pic! I really like the position of the army man and writing in the background. It really makes the image seem unique and intricate. I also like the position of the camera and its angle because it gives the picture an unbalanced look and also draws the attention to the toy and the words. The colors of the objects also match which aids the picture also. I agree with you on the fact that it would make the picture better if the gun was in better focus. Overall, I think that this is a great picture. Keep up the good work! - Heath M - HHS

Hey dude this is really sick. I like the page beneath him. I think you picked a great point of focus, and I actually really like the gun fading out of focus. Cool photo.

I really like this picture. I like how the soldier has all the focus in the middle. i think you took this picture from a great angle, allowing the words on the paper to show. I like how neutral the colors are of this shot. Overall, i think you did a great job capturing and editing this image.

This is an amazing picture, it really has meaning and tells a story. I love how all focus is on the solider and how you edited it. The color combo is great, I don't think anything could have changed this meaningful photo. Keep up the great work!
