Seth W- Star Lake

The title of this picture is star lake and it was taken at Star Lake 2 or 3 weekends ago.  It was taken with the Canon EOS Rebel T5.  I edited it by darkening the photo and I moved the saturation and the definition.  I also adjusted the highlight and moved the temperature up.  I think the edit it looked good but I wish the picture didn’t have the people in the back.

Great picture! i love the flow of sun over taking the sky with a beautiful orange glow. I like how you darkened it helping show the true color of the picture. I brighted the trees just a little to show the light over taking everything around it. I would hang this in my house, my family conncets to this because we love being around any body of water ecspecially in the late afternoon.

This looks really good! I love the way the saturation isn't too strong and the orange and blue compliment each other perfectly. Great job!

I really dig this picture and, especially, the colors in the sky. Orange and blue clash great with one another, so whether you planned this shot from the start or just got lucky, you still have yourself a great colorful shot. Another detail I really like is the reflection of the sky off the lake, giving it a unique underwater aurora look. However, we all know no shot can please everyone and personally, I think that increasing the exposure or turning saturation up would be a good way to get those bushes in the foreground and the trees in the background into the shot. I do like how they act as silhouettes, contrasting to the bright sky, but some more green in the picture would be nice if possible. This change, however, may compromise the sky’s colors in the original edit, so do whatever pleases you.

I really like this picture because of the tonal range in the sky. Having the color opposites come together and also reflect on the water looks very good. I like the use of depth with the bridge and the bushes displaying it. I like the rule of thirds used on the fountain and the sky. This picture makes me feel peaceful and calm.

The colors in the sky though. The orange and blue "merging" into each other really is beautiful. I love nature shots so much. Amazing photo. I agree with Zack though, I would really love to see some more green in the nature. Although it a very nice color mix, I do think that the orange in the photo is a bit.... Overexposed. Ah... I would try to get it to be a bit more shaded f possible, but maybe that's just me. I love the dark VS light in this photo, very good job. I feel a bit... Happy, when looking at this photo. I would keep this photo because it's very artistic in a sense. Good job Seth, keep up the miraculous work.

i love how the colors in the sky are the main focus in this picture. they are really beautiful and are the first thing you notice when you look at this photo. this photo gives out a peaceful mood and it makes me feel happy when i look at it. i also love the lighting and how you edited this photo. my favorite thing about the photo is how the colors in the sky also reflect on the water.

I love how this photo has so many equalities to this picture that really makes it pop out like how beautiful the sky looks. I personally like how the angle captures everything that makes it an amazing photo. i liked how you darkened it and the highlight and temperature up to really focus on the colors of the sun and it reflects on the sky. i honestly like everything about this photo and all the effects. I didn't even realize there was people in this photo at first but they are so small you can't even really tell but that means that people love to come see this place in personal and it most be even more beautiful.
