I named this picture “Abandoned” obviously because nobody lived in this house, It was taken in Tuscaloosa somewhere about a month ago. I took it with my Nikon D90, i added some color, sharpness, and lightened it up some. It could be a little more clear, but it was still a fun shot.

I really like the lighting in this picture. It's cool because the sun is shining down from behind the house and there is a unique sun glare. There is a good contrast between the shadows of the house and the light of the grass. This picture is honestly really sweet and I think it is awesome how the house looks abandon. The only thing that I would change is the power lines because they ruin the image.
Cool pic!!! I love how you edited this picture. My favorite part is the flare of the sun! I like how it brings more effect to the picture. I think this picture could be better if there weren't any power lines. The power lines are kind of distracting. But overall I think you did a very good job.

Jacob, I really do like your “Abandoned” photo! I really like the lighting created by what I assume is the sun behind the house because I feel it adds a distinct layer of depth to the grass in front of the house. I also like that the house itself looks centered in the middle of the photo with equal distance between the house and side of the photo on each end of the house. I would definitely call this photo a keeper and if I were you, I would use it as a desktop background on a computer because it’s just so nice. You did a great job!

I really like this picture and how the sun is shining through the back. I also like that the house itself looks centered in the middle of the photo with equal distance. I love how you got the stuff in front of the house too like the weeds and the grass! this could have been better if you focused a little more on the sky so it was clear.
This is a cool picture! My favorite part about it is the sun shining in. I like the how the lighting in this picture is mainly dark but the sun and the sky make this picture brighter. I like how the house in the main focus and the center of the picture. To make this picture better you could have focused more to make the picture clearer. I really like the picture a lot you did a good job!!

I really like this photo. The lighting in it is what really makes it look good to me. I like the flare, and the soft light on the grass. I also like that the sky wasn't completely blown out. I agree that you could've removed the powerlines, but ultimately it looks pretty good. Good job!›
The photo could have been a bit more in focus and I am not a fan of the power lines through the top of the photo but I still like the entire photo especially the sun providing the light in the photo and shadows created by the house because of it. I enjoy the angle the photo was taken as it gives a slight depth of field.

This is a really cool photo! I love how it's not too bright but you can still see the details of the house, giving it a more eerie look. I also like how the sun is shining from behind the house making all the colors look better and it makes the sky look really cool. I would definitely call this a keeper and i love the sort of creepy feel of this picture. One thing that would make this better is i the power lines weren't there.
