Brianna S. - Watermelon

I titled this picture “Watermelon” because…Beyonce. It’s the last Photo Blog so why not have some fun with the title.? It was taken in Florida around September last year with my Nikon D3200. It could be better if the clouds in the background weren’t so exposed, but all I did to edit this photo was enhance the colors a little bit, a few touch ups, and that’s it, so I’m very satisfied on how it turned out.

My first overall reaction was wow! I look at this photo and think it is from some tropical island like Hawaii. I love the arrays of color that it brings to the table. From to the bright orange surfboards, to the baby blue sky. Its a great photo, good job!

I love this picture because it reminds me of the beach and the ocean. I love all the colors of the surf boards and the sky. The composition is also so good, I like how you just got the tops of the surfboards.

Nice picture. I like the sky with the clouds in the background. The surfboards look really good to and I like how it's not centered. Very cool picture.

i love the colors you used here. I like that you only showed a little bit of the boards and not all of it. The tone is soft! i like it! and the clouds as well

i really like this picture! the exposure is good and the clouds look really nice. the only thing i would change would be putting the surfboards to the right or left rather then them being in the center other than that great picture!!

This is an awesome picture! The exposure allows you to see the entire photo clearly. The colors on the surf boards are really crisp and clear. And the cloud in the back ground gives the image more depth. This photo is definitely a keeper!

I really like this picture! The balance of colors ( between the orange of the boards and the pale blue of the sky) is perfect! The little trail of clouds behind the subject that is still in focus adds to the overall intensity of the image! Good Job!

This photo is really clear which is great. The colors are nice and vibrant and the exposure is nice because it illuminates the picture. Overall, great picture!

I really like this picture, the colors are vibrant and capture the attention while the whole view is clear and neat. I don't think you can improve anything about this picture, it is really great.

GREAT NAME!!!
Anyways, i love the colors and how they complement each other well. They're not too harsh but are still very vibrant. I know you didn't like the exposure of the background but it adds texture and makes the color of the surfboards pop. I love the use of the rule of thirds and if i could surf this would be my summer story. Great job!
