Alice B- Praying Mantis

The name of the photo is Praying Mantis because it is one. It was in my backyard on a leaf. It was on a sunny day taken with my Nikon L830. I edited it to have a bit more contrast and brightness. The saturation was also increased. I could have made it better by moving it so the metal chair was gone from the background. This is one my favorite photo I’ve taken because of how focused the mantis is.

Wow! Nice picture! I like everything about this image! It's like the praying mantis is posing! Great colors too!
This is a really great photograph! The way that the praying mantis is completely in focus with the background blurred really pulls out the details of the praying mantis. In addition, the contrast of the bright green with the flower in the background makes the colors pop. Great job!
