Brianna S. - Glazing Waters

The title of this image is “Glazing Waters,” and I took it at the Preserve a few weeks ago with a Nikon D3200. It was taken in the morning so that there was enough light for all the pictures but nothing was too bright or overexposed. I had the f-stop at 5.6, ISO at 220, and had a shutter speed of 1/60 to slow everything down a little and give the water the hazy and flowing look that it has. I edited it by adding a black and white filter then adding in some of the color. I also sharpened the image a little more and adjusted the levels of it. I think this could be a little better if it was more clear on the right side of of the picture and if the rocks were more clear as well, but I like how it turned out so I can’t really complain about it.

I love this picture! The way you captures the moving water was really well done! The lighting is also perfect in order to capture the movement of the water. Great job!

I love these slower shutter waterfall pictures and I have taken a few myself. Mine are usually wide angled to get the whole view but I like this close up. The clarity is good, it would have been either the water or the rocks because of the zoom. I didn't notice that some parts are black and white but I like that the rock is the main color. Great picture!

I really like this picture! I like the clarity and focus of the water. Really cool shot without making the water look so blurry.

Great shot. Its cool how the water looks and i like that the water doesn't look blurry its really clear!

Great picture! the lighting is really good because it doesn't reflect too harshly from the water and it just lightens up the pictures. It almost doesn't even look real which makes it even better! Keeping it in color was a good choice!

Brianna,
I really like this photo. The long exposure of the water slightly falling on the other rocks adds for a soft look on this picture, which I really love! I wouldn't suggest making any changes to the picture because I love the way it looks already. Great Job!

I really like this photo! The water looks really cool, i like how it softens towards the bottom. Kinda off topic but i think that you chose a great title for this image.

This picture looks very cool. I like how the water is just glazing over the rock. There is a little shed of light on the upper part of the rock which adds to the success of the photo. I also like how the water is blurred. The colors are very natural which is also a nice thing. Overall great photo!

This is a very cool photo. I love the lighting and the angle it is taken at. Also, the water gives direction. The water could be a little more focused, but it is still very pretty!

Homie I like it, the shutter speed couldn't be better! you froze most of it yet the spray at the bottom is in motion, which gives it a really great effect!! I like the color too, I want to see what this would look like in black and white, but it's gr8 the way it is
