Kendall O- Ocean

The title of my image is called “Ocean”. This is an image of a cap I bought at an antique shop. At the time of this photo the sun was shinning into my living room and decided to use this to my advantage to take the picture on a Monday afternoon. I took this photo with a Nikon Coolpix L820. The way I edited this photo is I increased the brilliance of the photo and decreased the highlights as well as increased everything in lights. I decreased the contrast of the color as to make it cooler and added a bit of vignette to make it seem as if you’re rising to the surface of the ocean. I feel that this could be better with bit more time if I had it. I wold have had more time to edit it as to not be rushed.

This was so cool that I just had to make a comment about it. I love how your focus is towards the bright light as the rest of the picture is reflective. I like how your coloring is centered around cool colors of blue and green. This is definitely a keeper because I am so intrigued by the dimensional and depth look you have going. I would personally just add some more color and a bit less of dark spaces. But besides those nit-picky things, it is a great picture.

This is so incredibly cool! My eyes were immediately drawn to it as I was scrolling through. I really think this looks awesome considering the limited time you had to edit. It almost looks like your swimming through a whirlpool in the ocean. There is a nice contrast in the lights and shadows.

It looks so cool. The soft but kind of mysterious colors of the blues looks really good and gives the photo a cool vibe. The image is focused nicely and looks very clear. I can't really see anything to add on how to fix the picture and I would defiantly keep it.

I like this picture mostly because, at least for me, it gives off a a melancholic mood as the seeming whirlpool envelops the viewer. Part of that is the framing created by the darker parts of the bottle. Another good part of the photo was the focus as the entire inside of the bottle was in focus.

This photo is so creative. I love the vibe it gives off and the blue tones. I love how everything is in focus and has depth. I love how you highlight the negative and positive space in this photo as well.

I really like this picture. It caught my eye immediately when I was scrolling through the blog. I love the colors in this photo, they're gorgeous! The light in the middle could be a little less harsh but, otherwise, this is a really great picture. I like how cool and calming these colors are. Great job!

This picture is really beautiful. I can see why yew called it ocean, it looks like a telescope looking through the ocean. I wonder if decreasing the highlights would make the image a little bit easier on the eyes, but other than that it's beautiful.
