Ethan F - Tuesdays of the Past

The title of this image is Tuesdays of the Past. It was taken august 23 at the Galleria mall. I used my Kodak Easyshare 740. I did everything I could to increase the brightness of the image, then made it black and white and reduced noise. It could be better If I had a camera more suited to low light shooting. I had to use a half second exposure, resulting in a bit of motion blur. I particularly like this image, because I knew the restaurant that was there before it closed.

The lighting is so well done in this photo. It enhances the photo along with the black and white filter which draw in attention almost at every point of the photo. This is a true black and white photo with a tone of gray in some areas. There is a bit too much light where the window is reflecting it. I love the mood of this photo. Along with the title, it gives it a mysterious feeling and you're kept wondering what happened in the photographer's "Tuesdays of the Past."

I think this picture looks really cool! The graininess gives it a character and texture that looks really cool! You say you tried to reduce the noise of the picture, but I think it looks fine how it is. It has an almost "Noir" feel to it, and the title enhances that. It doesn't have a clear subject, which almost speaks to the indifference of the genre, a carefree existence. The lines of the seat backing give the picture a texture as well, and it gives it a definition. Overall, the only thing I might do differently is to make sure the focus is on the subject next time.

I think this image is really good. I love the black and white filter on the image. I also like the vintage look of the image and how the picture tells a story in itself. The only thing I would change about this image is the amount of grain on the image. Overall this image is pretty cool.

This photo me gives me diner vibes. I like how rustic and vintage the photo looks. The low lighting gives the photo that appeals to look like an older photo. The booth is not the center of the photo, which gives a natural effect tot the photo. I really like this photo.

I think this is a great image and love the simplicity yet complexity of the scene. The title really ties the complexity of the image to something older. This image screams old diner to me. I like the saturation and grainy effect given by what I assume is a high ISO. The ISO might be a little over the top but other than that it's a great image.
