Here you can see images and comments by Digital Photo students at Hoover High School. The blog will be updated daily so check back to see whats new.
This photo was taken over Spring Break in Seaside. I didn’t have my camera with me so I took it with my iPhone 6. I edited it by turning up the saturation, brightness, and concentration. It could be better if it had better quality.

I like this photo. I think the sky especially is very cool. I think that the exposure is exactly where it should be, and the colors are too. Some people would oversaturate the blues, but I think where they are now is perfect. The sky and clouds area very cool, and the horizon is on the lower third which is appealing. I also like that the flag is in the center. I think you could make it better by straightening the image so that the horizon is flat rather than tilted slightly to the right.
i like this picture a lot! I love its composition and especially how blue the sky is. The flag makes everything kind of come together and is centered so it looks good! Awesome overall picture!
I really like this picture! I love the colors and the way you edited it. I also like how you can see the flag in the middle of the blue sky. to make it better, you could have straightened the image instead of it being tilted, but overall I still really like it!
This is a very nice image! My favorite thing about it is how the flag is in focus despite all of the other things that are going on. The light and subtle color of the sky and the mosaic of the clouds look really good with the flag. The picture has motion to itself because of the bikers and everything comes together so well!
This is a really nice image! I like how it's casual yet captures a lot of the elements in Seaside. I like all of the colors and how the flag really pops against the sky. The only thing that would make it better would to have used the ruler in Photoshop and straightened it a little. Overall, really nice photo!
Megan, this is a fantastic picture. I like how you captured the center of the amphitheater in the photo. This image makes me miss this place. Matthew C. HHS
